Lu An'an chuckled and shook her head: "Why are you so incorrigible?"
As the last word fell, Lu An'an made a lightning-fast move. A small dagger grazed Lu Rongyu's cheek and accurately embedded itself in a vase beside her. With a crisp cracking sound, the vase shattered, scattering petals and porcelain shards all over the ground.
Lu Rongyu instinctively covered her head with both hands, her fear evident. Just as she was about to scream in terror, Lu An'an, who had appeared out of nowhere, grabbed her neck and lifted her slightly off the hospital bed.
Lu An'an's eyes were filled with coldness, and a vicious smile, typical of a villainous supporting character, curled at the corners of her lips: "Lu Rongyu, why are you always so arrogant? Since you're so ungrateful, how about I send you down to keep your grandmother company?"
As Lu Rongyu felt the air growing thinner, she patted Lu An'an's hand and finally couldn't help but cry out, "Lu... An'an! You... you let go!"
Lu An'an released her grip, sneering, "Not pretending anymore?"
Lu Rongyu collapsed weakly onto the hospital bed, her chest heaving as she gasped for breath. She glared at Lu An'an with hatred, her smile concealing a deeper malice: "What does it matter whether I'm pretending or not? The police have cleared me of suspicion. Even if you have a thousand grievances in your heart, you can't do anything to me. After all... you ultimately don't dare to cross that line and really kill me."
Lu An'an sat back on the sofa, her eyes unreadable. "I know you've aligned yourself with the Zhao family, and I can't do anything to you for now, but I'm very curious, where did you get Lu Yanhua's suicide note?"
