When Lu An'an arrived at the place where Lu Yanli had been brought with Xiao Ningning, the first thing she saw was Gu Tingyan with bloodshot eyes, frantically trying to break through the bodyguards' defenses, but he was pinned to the ground by the bodyguards and struggled desperately.
The dark muzzle of a gun was already pressed against his head, just waiting to be cocked and cracked open.

Her eyes also flickered with a complex light.

His wrists, tightly bound by ropes, were bloody and mangled, with drops of blood falling to the ground. He was writhing in pain, his face contorted with unsatisfied agony, and he was groaning.
Lu An'an's gaze involuntarily drifted downwards. Before she could see anything clearly, Lu Yanli, who was looking completely bewildered, snapped back to reality, rushed forward, and swiftly covered Lu An'an's eyes, while also pushing Xiao Ningning around.
Then, he whispered through gritted teeth, "Little sister, be good, don't look at what you shouldn't see."

Double standards? Isn't this a double standard? We're all human, why can he watch it but I can't?!
Upon hearing this, Lu Yanli nearly turned red with anger. He pushed his sister out and turned to call Gu Tingyan to come out with him.
However, the sight before him made his heart clench. Gu Tingyan walked over expressionlessly, picked up the gun he had placed on the table, aimed it directly at Berlans's philtrum, and slowly pulled back his finger. The crisp sound of the bullet being chambered was particularly jarring.
Lu Yanli was startled again. He quickly released Lu An'an and rushed over to hug Gu Tingyan. He lifted Gu Tingyan's hand that was holding the gun, causing the gun to lose its aim and deviate from its original trajectory. With a loud "bang," the bullet grazed the air and embedded itself in the roof beam.
Lu Yanli was furious: "Gu Tingyan! Are you crazy?!"
Gu Tingyan's face was tense, his brows furrowed with an unfathomable ruthlessness. "He deserves to die."
Lu Yanli shouted, "Do you want to go to prison and work on a sewing machine, you son of a bitch?!"
Lu An'an watched as Lu Yanli and Gu Tingyan, who were embracing and pushing each other but unable to separate, walked in with Xiao Ningning, and grinned maliciously at Berlans, who was on the verge of losing his mind.
Lu An'an's lips curled into a mischievous smile: "Senior sister, same old rule, I'll go first?"
Xiao Ningning raised her chin. "You go first. I'll just try out the talisman I'm researching."
Lu An'an nodded, took out a pair of gloves from her pocket and put them on. She held a needle in her hand, approached Berlans, and quickly and accurately stuck a needle into his head. She then dislocated Berlans's jaw, threw in a pill, and then jumped back a step to distance herself from Berlans.
