When Pei Sheng was brought in, his face was filled with terror and panic. Upon seeing Qi Rang, he lunged forward like a drowning man grasping at a straw, his voice trembling with fear: "Officer, help! Berlans is going to kill me! His bodyguard has a gun! He wants to kill me!"
Lu An'an coldly observed Pei Sheng's performance, a mocking smile playing on her lips: "That's really strange. After all this time, with bodyguards carrying guns, you're still alive? You're quite hard to kill?"

A short while later, a large number of police officers entered and quickly and orderly took control of Berlans's bodyguards and removed them from the scene.
The bodyguard, who had been held down silently by El's bodyguards, suddenly showed a resolute and crazed look in his eyes the moment the police took over. He broke free of his restraints, pulled out a bunch of guns from deep in his pockets, and stared viciously at Lu An'an, "Lu An'an! I'll kill you!"
