Chapter 11: Eating (2/2)

Qin Zheng drew a bucket of water from the well in the backyard and poured it over the pot. The final finishing work was completed.

Grandma Bai in the kitchen was also calling them to eat.

Grandma Bai cooked three dishes every day. In addition to the stewed chicken she mentioned, there was also a fish soup and salad spinach.

The fish soup and spinach are already on the table, and the remaining chicken is in the pot.

When the lid of the pot was opened, the rich aroma of meat mixed with the flavor of mushrooms hit Tang Wan in the face, and she instantly felt hungry.

It smells so good.

Fortunately, Qin Zheng's house is at the very edge of the village and there is no one living nearby, otherwise the aroma would make all the neighbors on the left envious.

Especially in this era when there is no meat at the beginning of the year.

Qin Zheng is worthy of being the hidden boss in the book. Although he has not made a fortune yet, judging from the meals Tang Wan provided during her two visits, the Qin family lives a very comfortable life.

Grandma Bai was obviously very confident in her cooking skills. She asked Tang Wan to sit down and eat: "Don't be polite, Grandma. I made a lot of food, so you should eat more."

"Thank you for your hard work. It smells so good. I won't be polite to you."

When Tang Wan said this, Grandma Bai was happy: "The more you eat, the happier I am."

Tang Wan couldn't describe how good the rice base made by Grandma Bai was, but even the simple cold spinach salad tasted incredibly delicious.

Not to mention the chicken with mushrooms, which is fragrant, tender and delicious.

Such cooking skills are not necessarily possessed by famous chefs in modern times.

Tang Wan's eyes lit up as she ate. Eating such a meal was like a real treat.

Compared to this, Tang Wan felt that the braised pork in the space that was praised to the sky in the book was not as fragrant.

Qin Zheng also observed Tang Wan's reaction, and finally felt relieved when he saw that she liked it.

Grandma Bai didn’t have so many thoughts. Seeing Tang Wan eating so well, she was extremely happy.

"Why don't you eat with us? I can cook many dishes." Grandma Bai invited Tang Wan warmly.

Hearing Grandma Bai say this, Tang Wan was really moved.

The food at the educated youth center was not only unpalatable but also irritating to the throat. Although there was food in her space, she never ate it when the educated youth center put out food. It was a bit too strange.

It would be a good idea if we could have a meal together at the Qin family.

She can afford the money and will never give less, so she can eat well.

With this idea in mind, Tang Wan decided to go and ask.

She remembered hearing before that the educated youth ate at the village houses, but now the people at the educated youth site also ate at the educated youth site. Tang Wan didn't know if this could be done.

Thinking of this, Tang Wan did not agree at first.

Grandma Bai immediately guessed Tang Wan's concerns: "Don't worry, the food you educated youth ordered is not as good as what the villagers eat. In the past, many educated youth also found people in the village to share meals. As long as we agree on it, no one can say anything."

Despite what Grandma Bai said, Tang Wan still refused: "I'll go talk to them first. The team still provides me with food at the educated youth camp. I have to return it later. If I separate from them, I'll have to divide the food again."

"That's easy. It depends on how much they give you back. It doesn't matter if it's more or less. Grandma has food for you." Grandma Bai was determined to persuade Tang Wan.
