A feeling of suffocation surged through Jiang Mingwei, her face turning bluish-purple as she desperately pounded on the hands that felt like branding irons on her neck.
But her struggles were futile against Wei Jing, like a mantis trying to stop a chariot!

"Sister-in-law, you are truly my good sister-in-law!" Wei Jing's dark eyes were bloodshot, and he sneered.
He was drugged, and then this woman walked in. What a coincidence!

His cold gaze swept over Zhou Shi and Lu Yun. If they still didn't realize they had been tricked, then all the battles he had fought over the years had been for nothing!
"Enough with the nonsense! Your elder brother has just passed away, and you're here indulging in pleasure. Even if I take this all the way to the Emperor, I'll make sure he punishes you for a grave offense of disrespect!"
Zhou ignored his explanation and peered sideways into the room.
Wei Jing simply opened the other door as well, "Then please let Mother take a good look. There's no one else in this room!"
The dilapidated house was on full display.
