"What did you say? You want to acknowledge me as your master?"
As it turned out, the millet's feeling was correct.
That day, as the sun was setting, Shushu had just found a good spot nestled against the mountains and by the water, and took out his magical artifact, the house, to activate its protective features.
Just as he sat down in the courtyard, ready to lie down and relax, Du Han and Er Hou came up to him together, and Du Han was unusually shy.
Curious, Shushu couldn't help but ask, "What happened?"
When she heard Du Han finish speaking in a stammering voice, Shushu was so shocked that she jumped up.
Good heavens, it actually wants to acknowledge me as its master. Thinking of the unicorn clan behind it, Shushu was quite certain that its small body was no match for its horn.
Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed the green on Du Han's neck. Without even thinking, he knew it must be its doing again. Shushu had a bit of a headache.
Thinking about this, even Shushu couldn't help but start to wonder if he should find some time to talk to Tianluo and tell him that he didn't need to hire any more people.
Otherwise, given Tianluo's practice of bringing back several companions for her every now and then, she always felt that her space would eventually be filled up.
Unfortunately, Tianluo was unaware of her sorrow. When it saw the yam looking at it, it excitedly raised the tips of its vines and swayed them back and forth towards the yam, making the small leaves rustle.
Having spent so much time with Tianluo, Shushu could tell at a glance that it was extremely happy and eager to show off its success.
The potato sighed helplessly, pretending not to understand its implication, and calmly looked away.
Then, she met two pairs of wet eyes, belonging to Du Han and Er Hou respectively.
Du Han repeated, "Sister, I want to acknowledge you as my master." She hadn't forgotten.
Shushu paused, thought for a moment, walked over and gently patted Duhan's little head. Just as she was about to say something to comfort her, her wrist suddenly felt heavy and her fingertips hurt.
Erhou's entire fury was hanging on her hand, its two front paws holding her fingertips, swallowing the beads of blood that had just appeared.
The moment their eyes met, Erhou grinned at her, revealing a standard silly smile, leaving Shushu completely dumbfounded.
The next moment, the contract array rose up beneath their feet, and by the time Shushu came to his senses, the contract had already been signed.
Seeing that Du Han's eyes were also full of eagerness, Shu Shu had a bad feeling and quickly used his spiritual power to stop it from a distance while advising, "Don't do anything rash."
Unfortunately, those words came a step too late, almost the instant they were spoken.
Caught off guard, Erhou helped remove another drop of blood from her wound and presented it directly to Du Han.
Du Han swallowed the blood bead as soon as she opened her mouth, and the contract array appeared. In no time, the contract was successfully established.
Feeling the bond with it, the potato seemed to be able to see itself being tossed into the sky by a group of unicorns through that bond, feeling somewhat like crying but helpless.
Du Han and Er Hou were completely unaware of her struggles and were still happy, as they could finally go with her to explore the world and experience all those wonderful things.
Listen to the two little ones, still sounding like babies, spouting grand pronouncements, interspersed with Tianluo's excited voice.
The sorghum remained silent for a long time before finally letting out a helpless sigh and accepting the outcome.
Immediately afterwards, Shushu went to rest with mixed feelings.
As for arranging territory for them, that's none of her business. Tianluo had already told her that it had taken care of everything.
Seeing that Tianluo was even more skilled than its master, what could Shushu say? She could only shut her mouth and find a place to rest and meditate.
Tomorrow, I'll continue searching for the spiritual plants Erhou needs for her medicinal bath. She should conserve her energy and make ample preparations.
Thinking this, the millet gave them a few instructions, reminding them to arrange for the night watch, and then quickly entered a meditative state.
The scattered spiritual energy also gathered from the outside, entered Shushu's body, first circulated through his limbs and bones, and finally cleansed and merged into his dantian.
Seeing this, the group of little ones who had been playing around looked at each other and quieted down.
I glanced at the duty roster at Shuchi's place. Apart from Tianluo and Jiuruo, who were in charge of night watch, everyone else had found a place around Shuchi and started cultivating with their eyes closed.
In a short while, the little ones began to breathe deeply and their little bellies swelled up and down.
Tianluo and Jiuruo stood guard on both sides, using their divine senses to keep a close watch on the outside situation while chatting telepathically, and they didn't feel tired at all.
For a moment, the entire courtyard was filled with peace and tranquility. Even the starry sky outside seemed to sense the atmosphere and quieted down as well.
Having slept without a dream, the next day, after meditating and absorbing spiritual energy all night, Shushu woke up refreshed and full of energy.
Seeing her friends still sleeping all around her, as well as Tianluo and Jiuruo who noticed she was awake and looked over, Shushu's face broke into a big smile.
Without waking those who were still sleeping, they tiptoed through the encirclement and came to the door with Tianluo Jiuruo.
Just then, they witnessed the sun slowly rising and sunlight gradually falling on the earth, and a look of amazement flashed in the eyes of the person, the vine, and the sheep.
Just as I was about to say something, I suddenly felt the ground shaking slightly. My friends behind me also woke up at the sound of the faint tremor.
Like Shushu, everyone's first reaction was to secretly extend their divine senses to check the situation.
At this point, the most powerful items in the team, the Yao Guang Cauldron and the Wen Tian Seal, come into play.
Before anyone could find the source of the disturbance, the two of them had already pinpointed the other and, incidentally, projected the situation there onto the courtyard's ceiling using a light screen.
Upon seeing this, everyone instinctively looked over, and then, everyone present, including Shushu, was stunned, exchanging bewildered glances.
In the very center of the light screen was the same male cultivator who had chased the potato for a whole day and night. Now, he was using the same trick again, chasing after a group he didn't recognize.
Behind the male cultivator was a much larger herd of spirit beasts than before.
This familiar recipe and these familiar people gave me two surreal feelings, as if I were in another world.
If she remembered correctly, several dozen days had passed since she started avoiding him, and he hadn't managed to shake off the group of spirit beasts during those several dozen days.
Shushu was shocked. For a moment, he didn't know whether to praise the spirit beasts for their stamina or the person for being able to run away.
Those who run for dozens of days without stopping are role models for us all, Shushu thought to himself.
Just as they were in shock, Du Han looked at the center of the spirit beast group and let out a "Huh".
