Chapter 63 Do not distribute to Yu Mantang

He likes doing business and making friends with straightforward people like that.

He enthusiastically beckoned the waiter and insisted on serving Wan Shu and his companions a table full of dishes, telling them to eat lunch before leaving.

Wan Shu could tell that the owner of Jinzunlou was shrewd but not the kind of person who was all talk and no action; he genuinely wanted to invite them to dinner.

It was midday, and they were hungry, so Wan Shu led the little ones to sit down and enjoy their meal.

The shopkeeper was also hungry and really wanted to sit down and eat with them, but it was noon, the busiest time of day, and he had just acquired braised food as a powerful tool to attract customers.

Unable to contain his excitement, the shopkeeper exchanged a few polite words with Wan Shu before personally going to the restaurant entrance to solicit customers.

Three or four richly dressed young men strolled over.

The two young men at the head of the group happened to be regular customers of Jinzunlou.

The shopkeeper smiled and warmly invited them in: "Young Master Zhang, Young Master Wang, it's been a long time! Please come in and have a seat!"

Young Master Zhang and Young Master Wang were businessmen who were leading a large client from the neighboring Qushan County. They were unsure which restaurant to go to when they heard this, so they headed towards Jinzun Restaurant.

Before they could even enter, Liu Liang's voice came from across the room.

"Young Master Zhang, Young Master Wang, what good food does Jinzunlou have? Why not come to our Yumantang instead? Our signature lion's head meatballs are so much better than Jinzunlou's lousy dishes!"

Liu Liang is completely making baseless accusations.

Jinzunlou and Yumantang are equally skilled, and Jinzunlou's dishes are even tastier. However, Yumantang has a very famous lion's head meatball dish, which is renowned throughout Jingzhou Prefecture.

Young Master Zhang and Young Master Wang knew that Jinzunlou's craftsmanship was better, so they weren't attracted by Liu Liang's words. However, the two big customers from Qushan County were drawn to the signature lion's head meatballs.

"So this is where the famous lion's head meatballs of Jingzhou Prefecture originated."

"Seeing is believing, Brother Zhang, Brother Wang, why don't we go and try this lion's head meatballs for lunch today?"
