In the evening, a pot of hot cornmeal porridge, wild vegetable pancakes with pickled vegetables, and a salted duck egg for each person.

They placed the four shacks on top of the fire.

Li Lanzhen said, "Her name is Tingyu. She is a new child in our Peach Blossom Spring and also your new friend. This is her younger brother. Please treat them well and play together."
Children's world is simple; they quickly become friends.
Han Yibo, San Niu, and a few other younger children came over, took Tingyu's little hand, and walked into the village.
She chattered away to him as they walked.
Shi Tou patted Ting Yu's shoulder, squatted down, wiped away her tears, and said with heartache.
"Tingyu, what are you doing here? Where are your parents? Where is your younger brother?"
Tingyu briefly introduced Shitou's family situation.
