She didn't want to lie, she just never had any friends...
"Come on, I'll take you to the cafeteria to buy some eggs." Feng Sisi stood up and took Tang Huan's hand and walked towards the cafeteria.
She didn't believe what Tang Huan said about her husband being a good person. If he really was a good person, would she be speechless for so long?
Her good sister might still be a poor girl at home who is bullied by her husband!
It doesn't matter! She will take care of her sister. Huanhuan is so thin, she probably didn't eat anything this morning. The first step to taking good care of her sister is to buy her food.
Two eggs for five cents—they were the most expensive items in the cafeteria. Feng Sisi stuffed both eggs into Tang Huan's hands and said, "Look how thin you are! Do you usually not get enough to eat at home?"
Holding two eggs, Tang Huan explained: "No, I usually eat a lot!"
She eats more than my mother-in-law, but she doesn't gain weight.
After coming out of the cafeteria, the two returned to the classroom, but the bell had not rung yet.
Tang Huan sat back in his seat and reached into the hole in the table to peel an egg. After peeling one, he put it in Feng Sisi's hand and then peeled one for himself.
These two eggs were bought for Tang Huan. After Feng Sisi had breakfast in the morning, she wanted to give the eggs to Tang Huan again. But when she thought that these eggs were peeled for her by her good sister, she suddenly felt that there was still some room in her stomach.
Tang Huan had half a bowl of porridge left over from the morning, so he had room in his stomach for an egg.
Tang Huan was attending class in the classroom, while Xing Cui was taking Meng Zeyan to a state-owned store.
Meng Zeyan hadn't told anyone about what had happened at the breakfast shop that morning, not even Xing Cui. Her main priority now was buying shoes for her daughter-in-law and asking Meng Zeyan to find a girl.
In the morning, Xing Cui went to ask the matchmaker specifically what the girls working as sales clerks were selling.
Coincidentally, the shoe salesperson was single.
In addition to selling women's shoes, there are also women's clothing and snacks and cakes...
Xing Cui felt that the shoe seller was the most destined person. They happened to buy shoes and the girl happened to be single. This was fate!
Meng Zeyan had no idea what his mother was planning, so he followed her around the store.
After walking around for a while, she finally found a place selling shoes. Xing Cui didn't look at the shoes at first, but looked at the shoe salesperson first.
The girl was wearing a gray overalls, was tall and well-built, with her hair braided into two large braids hanging down in front. She looked decent, though a little dark-skinned.
Xing Cui didn't mind it, being dark was normal! Nowadays, how many girls could be as fair and clean as Xiao Huan?
It took only a moment for Xing Cui to scan the shoes on the shelves. White sneakers were also quite sophisticated, with some featuring a touch of color on the sides and some without.
There are many styles and colors of leather shoes.
Xing Cui pointed to a pair of white sneakers with a red streak on each side, then to another pair of pure white sneakers. She turned to look at Meng Zeyan and asked him for his opinion. "Which one looks better?"
Meng Zeyan had never been so picky about the styles of shoes when buying them for himself. After taking a few glances and finding that the only difference between the two pairs of shoes was the red color, he pointed to the red pair.
"I think this pair looks good, too." Xing Cui was very satisfied with Meng Zeyan's taste. She pointed at the sneakers and said to the salesperson, "Miss, give me a size 36 of these shoes."
"Okay." The salesperson responded with a smile and bent down to look for shoes from behind the shelf.
It's hard to choose leather shoes. There are red, black, brown, flat heels, and high heels...
Xing Cui looked at the leather shoes rack several times and thought every pair was good. Xiao Huan looked good in them. This chapter has been read (please click on the next chapter to continue reading!)
