Chapter 56, Send Them (1/2)

"Then tomorrow morning?" He was supposed to be back tomorrow, but after receiving the call, Meng Zeyan hurried back and was a little tired now.

"Yeah." Tang Huan closed the cupboard.

Xing Cui had no objection. She was free every day and could go back anytime.

After washing the dishes, Xing Cui dragged Tang Huan downstairs for a walk and lunch. There were quite a few people on the training ground downstairs, and it was quite lively!

There were many children running around. As soon as Tang Huan and her friends walked out of the downstairs door, they were bumped into by a little girl.

Afraid of falling, the little girl hugged Tang Huan's legs.

Tang Huan smiled and lowered her head. The fair and tender little girl grinned at her, revealing her leaky teeth. "Sorry, Auntie, I bumped into you."

"It's okay, are you hurt?" Tang Huan reached out and gently pinched her soft, fair face.

Letting go of Tang Huan's legs, the little girl shook her head, and the two pigtails on her head swayed left and right with her movements.

Someone was calling her not far away. The little girl waved to Tang Huan and ran over there with her pigtails swinging.

Watching the little girl leave, Xing Cui's eyes were filled with envy, and she couldn't help but sigh, "I don't know when I'll be able to hold my grandchildren in my arms."

Meng Zeyu said that when she got married, she thought she would become a grandmother soon, but she never expected that an accident would come first.

Meng Zeyan is another person who makes no sense. She hasn't even gotten married yet, so when will she have grandchildren?

Many of the neighbors around my grandmother's age have grown up grandchildren, and Tang Huan has heard her envy them before.

"Didn't my brother say that we would get married at the age of 30? Just wait another two years and you will get married." Tang Huan took her mother-in-law's arm to comfort her.

The two of them strolled on the training ground, and Xing Cui couldn't help but keep her eyes on the children playing.

She didn't know what was going on, but she came up with a shocking idea: "Xiao Huan, when you get married and have children, you can call me grandma, right? I'll help you take care of them then."

Looking at her in surprise, Tang Huan smiled and nodded after a few seconds, "If you have a child in the future, let him call you grandma."

If you don't have children, there's nothing you can do.

She's not even planning on getting married, so where does the child come from?

Xing Cui was very happy. Now it all depended on whether Xiao Huan or Meng Zeyan would get married first. No matter which one got married, she would be able to hold her grandson.

After strolling downstairs for a while, the weather was a bit cold, so the two of them went home together.

Meng Zeyan leaned on the sofa with his eyes closed, as if he was asleep.

Xing Cui found a blanket to cover him first, and the two of them quietly began to make the bed.

Except for Meng Zeyan's room, the rest of the rooms have beds and wardrobes, which should have been bought together when buying furniture.

Xing Cui was responsible for looking for the quilt, and Tang Huan was responsible for pulling off all the sheets on the bed. Since no one had lived there for such a long time, it was covered with dust.

Change the sheets, put on the quilt and pillow, and you can rest.

Xing Cui went over and woke Meng Zeyan up, asking him to go back to his room to sleep.

Meng Zeyan, who was just waiting for someone but fell asleep, lifted the blanket and stood up, wanting to get them quilts, but Comrade Xing Cui told him that everything had been packed and he didn't need to worry about it.

After telling Xing Cui that there was hot water in the bathroom for washing, Meng Zeyan returned to his room.

There are two bedrooms, one larger and one smaller, and Tang Huan lives in the smaller one.

After washing up in the bathroom, I closed the door and went to bed.

It seems that he has never slept in a different bed since he came here. I don’t know if it’s because he is used to his bed, but Tang Huan has a little insomnia.

I stayed awake until it got light outside the window. I didn't feel sleepy at all and was full of energy.

She also wanted to close her eyes and count sheep, but the sheep were running around in her mind, and the more she tried to count them, the more excited she became.

There were slight footsteps in the living room, and Tang Huan's keen ears automatically identified who the footsteps belonged to.
