Wei Zhuolan's expression froze for a moment, then returned to its gentle and gentle appearance.
"I'm being abrupt."
He bent down to pick up the brooch, his face showing no emotion, but his lowered eyes were dark and unclear.
"There's one more thing I forgot to tell you."
He opened the program again, and the item circled in red about "ballroom dancing" was particularly eye-catching:
"There will be a ballroom dance at the military-civilian gathering, which needs to demonstrate the collaboration between medical students and soldiers. As the squad leader, you must take the lead and set a good example."
He ran his finger over the "Teacher Group Program" column, smiling:
"I heard that Captain Fu will also be attending as a military representative? There are certain scenes... if he could see his beloved being adorned with stars, he might reassess his own 'protective abilities.'"
Qin Ying pursed her lips, his words swirling in her mind, and she felt a little disgusted:
“I will arrange the program according to the process.”
"Then I'll wait and see."
Wei Zhuolan put the brooch back into the drawer, his eyes dark.
"After all, someone put a lot of effort into getting this party—don't let down the people who care about you."
Qin Ying frowned, somewhat confused. Someone?
Is he talking about himself?
She nodded, turned and walked out without saying anything else.
Looking at her departing back, Wei Zhuolan's eyes became meaningful.
Ever since he knew that Qin Ying was admitted to the medical school, he applied to the school to be the head teacher of the clinical department.
Before school started, I found out that she was in Class 1, and I took the initiative to tell the department head that I wanted to teach the class.
These thoughts should let her know that he did no less than Fu Hanzhou.
Qin Ying walked out of Wei Zhuolan's office, holding the activity plan tightly.
She didn't stop and went straight to the girls' dormitory. She was still thinking about Wei Zhuolan's meaningful words just now, which were like a tangled mess in her heart. She shook her head and subconsciously quickened her pace.
When I pushed open the dormitory door, the room was bustling with activity. Han Dongmei sat on the bed, fiddling with colorful silk threads and humming a popular tune; Zhou Lina was hunched over the table, diligently writing a letter.
As for the rest, some were reading, and a few were not there yet.
"Yingying, you're here!"
Han Dongmei was sharp-eyed and was the first to notice Qin Ying at the door. She immediately put down the silk thread in her hand and jumped up to greet her:
"Teacher Wei is waiting for you in the office today. Has the opening ceremony been finalized?"
Qin Ying forced a smile and placed the documents on the table.
"I've already communicated with Teacher Wei about the orientation activities. We need to start preparing quickly."
She paused, her eyes swept over Han Dongmei and Zhou Lina:
"Sister Dongmei, Sister Lina, could you please do me a favor and go to each class and tell them to send me their prepared programs before six o'clock tonight. It would be best if you could also include the students with various talents, especially those who can dance."
She and Fu Hanzhou agreed that he would pick her up at 6:30 every afternoon.
This time is neither too early nor too late.
"No problem! Leave it to us!"
Zhou Lina excitedly put down her pen and stood up:
"I just want to go out for a walk. I'm almost going moldy staying in the dorm."
Han Dongmei nodded repeatedly, and the two of them went out in a hurry.
Qin Ying looked at their departing backs, a warm feeling welling up in her heart, and the corners of her mouth curled up.
Then he sat down and began to read the document in detail and mark it with a pen.
Time passed minute by minute, and the sky gradually darkened. Students came back to the dormitory one after another. Seeing Qin Ying busy, everyone came to help, helping to tidy up the tables and chairs and make space to place the collected program lists.
Before six o'clock in the afternoon, the class leaders brought in the programs one after another.
Qin Ying and the girls in the dormitory sat at the table, carefully looking through each program list, summarizing and organizing it, and selecting the best ones.
When the time was almost up, Zhao Xiaoguang, the monitor of Class 2, walked in with an embarrassed look on his face, led by a female classmate, holding a crumpled piece of paper in his hand.
Qin Ying raised her head and looked at him gently:
"What's wrong? Do you have any questions?"
Zhao Xiaoguang spread out the paper in his hand and pointed it at Qin Ying:
"Student Qin, our class... several of our class's programs may have to be changed at the last minute."
He hesitated for a moment, and spoke hesitantly:
"Actually... some students feel the original program isn't quite right and want to switch to something else. Since everyone's opinions aren't unified, it's hard for me to convince them. I'm really at a loss, and I'm worried about affecting the overall plan, so I can only come to you to discuss it and see if you can help coordinate it."
Qin Ying stood up:
"Okay, I'll go with you and take a look."
She picked up the documents and followed Zhao Xiaoguang out of the dormitory.
Zhao Xiaoguang is a boy who looks a little shy. He is young and has a fair complexion.
When talking to Qin Ying, he always dared not look her in the eye.
Seeing him like this, Qin Ying knew that some students of his age might not obey his discipline.
When I arrived at the door of Class 2, I heard a fierce quarrel inside.
"A freshman from the countryside really takes himself seriously? Why should I listen to her orders?"
A sharp voice came from the classroom, making Qin Ying's heart tighten.
"Exactly, maybe she became the freshman representative because of connections!"
Another voice echoed.
Zhao Xiaoguang looked at Qin Ying awkwardly, his face full of apology:
"Student Qin, don't take it to heart. They were just... just saying it casually."
