Chapter 58 Exchange Meeting, Xu Qingqing draws little figures.

Hai Fugui angrily returned to his seat.

After everyone arrived, the representative tidied his attire and went on stage to give a speech, roughly expressing his gratitude to everyone for traveling from afar to the capital to participate in the exchange meeting.

Xu Qingqing was bored, so she rested her chin on her hand and spaced out, drawing circles with one hand and cursing Director Li to eat a pebble and hopefully break his teeth.

The man sitting next to Xu Qingqing frowned, noticing that Xu Qingqing was in a daze, and whispered a reminder: "Young comrade, this is an exchange meeting, you should pay attention to your attitude."

Then I realized she hadn't prepared anything, so I carefully tore off two pieces of paper and handed them to her with a pained expression.

Xu Qingqing stared blankly at the two pieces of paper that had suddenly appeared, then turned to look at the other person and found that it was an old man.

He was touching his notebook with a pained expression, muttering to himself, glancing at her every now and then, his eyes filled with resentment at her for being so disappointing.

Xu Qingqing then noticed that everyone else's desks had notebooks and pens on them, but her own desk was completely empty.

She then realized that the old man had torn off two pieces of paper for her because he saw that she had nothing.

Xu Qingqing didn't see why she needed to take notes, so she leaned closer to the old man and whispered, "Old comrade, do I have to write down what that person on stage said?"

"Call me Director Ma."

The old man, who was also Director Ma, then explained to Xu Qingqing the reason for holding the exchange conference.

The purpose of this conference was to allow everyone to express their doubts and discuss them with others, and also to promote everyone's learning progress.

Occasionally, senior professors would come over and give a lecture, from which the students learned a lot.

After explaining, Director Ma picked up his water glass and carefully took a sip of hot water. The steam rising from the glass fogged up his glasses.

Factory Director Ma took off his old, blurry glasses, pulled a cloth from his pocket, and carefully wiped his eyes. Afterward, he put his glasses back on, drank some steaming hot water, and repeated this process, leaving Xu Qingqing utterly astonished.

Xu Qingqing had a hard time explaining, so she said, "Director Ma, would you like to take off your glasses before you drink, and put them back on after you finish?"

Factory Director Ma asked, puzzled, "Why?"

"Um, don't you think wiping back and forth like this is a hassle?" Xu Qingqing asked back.

Factory Director Ma thought about it carefully and realized it was true. Every winter, he would prepare several pieces of cloth, especially since he loved to drink boiling water in winter.

So I took off my glasses and slowly drank some boiled water, which made things much easier.

Factory Director Ma sincerely thanked him, saying, "Young comrade, thank you so much!"

Xu Qingqing shook her head and grinned, "You're welcome. Director Ma, just call me Comrade Xu."

Factory Manager Ma chuckled and called out, "Little Xu!"

Xu Qingqing almost fell because her hand slipped. Heaven knows why people here like to add a "Xiao" before the surname.

After sitting down, he showed his sharp tiger teeth and looked at Director Ma, correcting him, "Call me Comrade Xu."

After he finished speaking, his eyes immediately turned dangerous.

Sensing the danger, Director Ma coughed a few times and immediately changed his address: "Comrade Xu."

Xu Qingqing was satisfied. She put away her tiger teeth, lay on the table, and continued to draw circles out of boredom.

After finishing his drink, Director Ma put on his glasses with satisfaction. When he looked at Xu Qingqing, he shook his head at her behavior.

At this point, an older professor had taken the stage, and Director Ma stopped paying attention to Xu Qingqing and focused all his attention on the older professor.

Xu Qingqing drew for a while and then got bored. She glanced around and saw the pen that Director Ma had put aside. She took it quietly when he wasn't looking and started drawing on the paper.

Factory Director Ma's attention was entirely focused on the old professor, and he didn't notice that his pen had been stolen.

After a while, Director Ma searched around where the pens were kept, but found nothing. He looked over there and, seeing no pens, immediately began searching anxiously.

It was only at the last moment that they realized the pen Xu Qingqing was twirling in her hand was his.

He immediately snatched his pen, clutching it tenderly to his chest, and glared at her: "Comrade Xu, this is a fountain pen, not wood. It will break if dropped!"

After saying that, she carefully wiped it clean, as if it were a precious treasure.

Xu Qingqing scratched her head, realizing her mistake. Seeing that Director Ma was angry, she pushed the two sheets of paper she had drawn in front of him.

Factory Director Ma was still angry. When he saw Xu Qingqing push the two pieces of paper over, he didn't understand why and pushed them back. Then he glared at Xu Qingqing and said, "I've given them to you. Try pushing them back again."

So Xu Qingqing pushed the paper in front of Director Ma again, indicating that he should look at the drawings on the paper.

Factory Director Ma looked down and saw two little figures, one fat and one thin, making strange movements on the paper. Each movement was different, and the two sheets of paper were almost completely filled. He clutched his chest, feeling sorry for his paper.

After seeing Director Ma's reaction, Xu Qingqing suddenly realized what was going on. In front of Director Ma, she folded the paper, tore it in half, and then arranged the pieces one by one, following the actions of the little man.

After witnessing Xu Qingqing's series of actions, Factory Director Ma breathed heavily, trembled, and his eyes rolled upwards repeatedly.

The young man who came with Factory Director Ma was so frightened that he immediately pinched his philtrum and screamed for help.

The others turned around when they heard the noise, and their eyes widened in fright. Most of them were newcomers and were flustered, not knowing what to do.

The rest of the people are people who come here every year for exchanges, so they are used to this scene.

The old professor calmly gave instructions, telling someone to fetch a stretcher from the next room and carry Factory Director Ma to the hospital.

Thankfully, these stretchers were prepared in case these grown men got into a fight and hurt each other.

Xu Qingqing stared blankly at the scene, then casually placed the little figure in her hand on the table.

A hand stealthily took it away without Xu Qingqing noticing, and then a burst of laughter echoed throughout the entire venue.

Everyone turned around and glared at the man. How could he still laugh at a time like this? How despicable was that?

Then you see the man holding something in his hand, laughing so hard he falls onto the table, pounding the table with his right hand.

The young man standing closest to him had a cold expression, his eyes revealing undisguised disdain.

Xu Qingqing looked over and immediately noticed that the person was holding her little portrait. She wondered how her little portrait ended up in the other person's hands.

Someone, curious about what was in his hand, walked up to him, pried open his fingers, and took out the little figure picture. Puzzled, they casually flipped through it.

Xu Qingqing noticed that his posture while flipping through the pages was incorrect and reminded him, "You need to speed up the flipping, instead of slowly flipping through each page one by one. Just like looking for page 123 in a book, flip through it quickly."

"Okay, sure."

Immediately follow Xu Qingqing's instructions and quickly flip through the page.

"!!!"

"Ha ha ha ha----"

Then, just like the previous one, he laughed so hard he collapsed onto the table.
