Chapter 45: Superman also needs to feed his child

Chapter 45: Superman also needs to feed his child

Tonight, the criminals in GoTan were surprised to find that Red Hood was actually staying with Batman, and both of them seemed to be in a good mood.

Don't ask them how they knew, the answer is that Red Hood's punches don't hurt them as much as before (╥﹏╥)

Batman pinned the gang leader to the ground and tied him up tightly with ropes. The leader yelled in dissatisfaction.

"Batman, you are treating them differently. The Red Hood beside you is much more brutal than me. Why don't you arrest him?!"

Nightwing nudged Red Hood with his elbow and said gloatingly,

"Little Wing, it looks like someone wants to challenge you."

Red Hood snorted and walked over to knock the guy unconscious, but Batman stopped him and the two of them were in a stalemate for a while.

Red Hood's eyes seemed to be frozen, and he kept warning himself in his heart.

You see, Batman is lying to you, he doesn't really acknowledge you at all.

Just as he was about to sneer, he heard Batman's hoarse voice, as if he had throat cancer, echoing in the night sky.

"I don't discriminate, he's not a criminal."

Red Hood's indifferent face twisted slightly, his eyes widened as wide as possible, and he looked like a silly goose.

It was not until the night training was over and everyone went back to their rooms to wash up and go to bed that he was surprised to find himself back in the manor.

I was planning to go back to the safe house tonight.

Jason took off his uniform and looked at the room, which was still furnished the same way as before he ran away from home. The framed photo on the cabinet was a family photo, polished to a very high shine.

He picked up the photo frame and tapped the photo. Although little Jason had a blank expression on his face, his eyes were sparkling with a smile. In the end, he did not leave.

Dick was the first one to get up in the morning. Ever since Xiaorong's potion healed his injuries, he had felt light-hearted for the past two days.

He went downstairs and greeted Ah Fu. As soon as he sat down, he heard Jason's voice behind him. He turned around and saw Jason's disgusted look. He couldn't believe it.

"Little Wing, you didn't leave yesterday?"

Jason Todd's look of disdain became more obvious.

"What do you mean, I didn't want to leave yesterday, okay?"

Dick had known Bruce and Jason for a long time, so he was glad to see him stay. Dick handed him the milk and said with a smile,

"Okay, of course! Little Wing, why don't you just move back? The whole family should be together."

Jason took the milk and drank it all without paying any attention to him. He noticed Bruce carrying Rong Huan downstairs with his peripheral vision and his eyes avoided his gaze.

Soon Tim and Damian were both sitting in their chairs, and the breakfast atmosphere was quite harmonious, except for Damian and Jason pecking at each other in elementary school.

Suddenly, an alarm sounded on Bruce's cell phone. He calmly turned it off. A moment later, a blue figure appeared by the window.

Alfred opened the window, and Clark flew in and greeted the Wayne family very enthusiastically. The little bats all waved, but Bruce stared at him and gave him a bat glare.

"Can't you just go through the front door?"

Clark scratched his head and smiled sincerely.

"I think it's faster to go through the window."

Bruce was speechless, and then heard Clark continue,

"I'm here to pick up Xiaorong."

Jason looked unkind.

"Where to go? This is her home."

Clark looked at the patriarch Bruce. They had agreed on this yesterday!

Bruce was silent, pretending not to hear the second half of the sentence. He didn't expect Clark to come directly to pick up the child.

Rong Huan was confused, but she had to go back to the metropolis with Clark, after all, her current mission target was Superman.

She tugged at Bruce's clothes, trying to find an excuse to go with Clark, but before she could open her mouth, Bruce said,

"good."

Jason stood up, and the stool made a harsh sound as it scraped against the ground.

"I don't agree! Why did you send her away again? You don't want me to raise her!"

Dick quickly tried to smooth things over.

"Little Wing, Bruce may have his reasons. Who wants to send away such a cute girl?"

Bruce did have his own considerations. Rong Huan disappeared for three years and suddenly appeared next to Clark. He suspected that the power behind the child made her change her target.

When he rescued Jason before, he wondered why Rong Huan could accurately locate Jason's position, when even he couldn't do it.

Since he had to stay with Superman, he was worried that it would be bad for Rong Huan if they left the girl behind. Besides, by being with Superman he could always know the situation.

Taking a step further, he could have Clark come to the manor as a reporter for interviews from time to time. After all, the Daily Planet had been named Wayne for a long time.

Jason is very smart and can roughly guess what Bruce means. He understands the logic, but he just can't get over it psychologically.

Three years ago, Rong Huan disappeared before his eyes, and he couldn't even hold the little girl's hand. That was a psychological shadow in his life. Now that Rong Huan finally came back, how could he let her go again?

Clark could not get a word in, so he stood by the window and listened quietly. Adults don't want their beloved children to leave home, and he didn't want to give up either.

Bruce looked at his angry son and finally decided to let Clark take Rong Huan away.

Jason clenched his fists, ignored Dick's obstruction, and rushed out the door and disappeared.

Rong Huan said goodbye to her daddy and her brothers and sisters. Dick touched her head reluctantly.

"Brother Dick is going back to Bludhaven today. Xiaorong, please call me often. I will miss you."

Rong Huan nodded with a smile, and was then carried by Clark to fly towards the metropolis.

Clark brought Rong Huan back to the apartment and hurriedly changed his clothes to go to work. He had already taken three days off, and if he didn't go, the editor-in-chief would fire him.

Rong Huan listened to Clark closing the door, lying on the sofa and playing with her fingers in boredom, wondering when this mission would be completed, when she heard the system announcing the mission in an electronic voice.

[Rescue Mission: Please rescue Superman who is infected with the Destruction Virus and gain the trust of all members of the Justice League. Mission Time: 15 days. Mission Reward: Points*10000, Treatment Drug*1]

Rong Huan was so excited that she looked at the rewards in the task list. Thank God, she finally opened a business!

He glanced at the mission time and thought to himself that he must follow Clark closely for the next half month. He couldn't miss this mission.

Clark discovered that his children always had a bunch of questions when he got home, including but not limited to what he had eaten today, whether there were any conflicts among his colleagues, and how many metropolitan citizens he had rescued.

Clark was full of questions, thinking that Rong Huan cared about him, so he patiently answered all his questions.

Rong Huan had first-hand information and was happily counting the mission time, feeling very confident about this time.

I didn't feel that there was anything wrong with the mission issued by the villain system.

The system assistant looked at the little girl's arrogant smile in Rong Huan's mind, and for the first time felt that it was not unreasonable for the main system to choose her. At least the expression was on point.

In fact, this mission is entirely the result of the main system's improvement after observing the data of several previous missions. According to the system's algorithm, Rong Huan should have begun to cultivate his own underground forces by now.

And after pushing the mall bomb to explode and Jason Todd's death, he successfully turned Gotham into a mess.

Then Superman had to watch his adoptive father die, sowing the seeds for his future collapse.
