The child looked much more energetic; the yellow grass on his head didn't look so yellow anymore, and his face wasn't as sallow as before. Instead, it seemed fairer, and he looked more energetic.
It seems that Old Chen's wife has really changed a lot; she's become someone who wants to settle down and live a stable life.
"Erwa, Uncle Village Chief is having cornbread at home today. Come back with me later and get two to treat yourself," the village chief said with a smile.

The thought of the rabbit still at Grandma Zhao's house made Erwa's mouth water as he went out.
Li Zheng sighed inwardly, "Oh well, I'll give the kid three cornbreads later. Look how much he's craving them."
