It was already late when I got home, so it seemed I wouldn't have time to water the vegetables today. I'll just have to get up early tomorrow morning and water them before the sun comes up.
Xu Han and Lu Chuan had been wandering in the valley all day, but they hadn't had time to dig up any fresh wild vegetables. They would have to wait until their next trip to dig them up.

Eating hot pot on a hot day feels different. Xu Han cooked the hot pot base in the kitchen, then brought it to the main room and set out many of her favorite side dishes.
Order a little bit of everything: tripe, tender beef, duck intestines, dried bamboo shoots, various mushrooms, and more.
After everything was arranged, they took out carbonated drinks from the storage space and started eating.
"How about it? Isn't my new table pretty good?" Lu Chuan said proudly.
Ever since Xu Han mentioned the table for hot pot during their last hot pot meal, Lu Chuan has made one very quickly.
This table is so convenient; I no longer need to leave food lying around.
"Yes, yes, thanks to your table, otherwise I would still be eating around the stove!" Xu Han praised without reservation.
Then the two smiled at each other and started eating in silence. The weather was already hot, and although there was ice in the room, they were still sweating profusely as they ate. The more they ate, the more they wanted to eat, and they couldn't stop because of the spiciness.
