How could Old Qin not understand Jiang Ling's implied meaning? His chest heaved for a while before he finally glanced at Zhang Qide.
Zhang Qide immediately handed Qin Lao a calligraphy brush, and Qin Lao elegantly wrote his name on the contract – Qin Huang.
Jiang Ling carefully put away her copy of the contract, pointed to the door, and said to Old Qin, "Old Qin, I won't see you off any further. I'll definitely treat you to a meal next time!"
Old Qin's face turned extremely ugly after hearing this, but he did not make a scene. He just snorted and strode towards the door. Perhaps because he was in a hurry, or perhaps because he did not notice the threshold of Jiang Ling's house, Old Qin almost tripped over the threshold when he went out and stumbled and fell on Zhang Qide.
"Old Qin..." Zhang Qide was so frightened that his face turned pale.
"It's none of your business. You think I'm old too, don't you?" Old Qin rolled his eyes and scolded.
Jiang Ling ignored the commotion outside the door and turned to walk into Jiang Yaojie's bedroom.
"How are you? Is there anything still bothering you?" Jiang Ling asked Jiang Yaojie with concern.
Jiang Yaojie shook his head and glanced worriedly at the door, asking, "Mother, is it really resolved?"
Without hesitation, Jiang Ling handed the contract to Jiang Yaojie. Jiang Yaojie breathed a sigh of relief and collapsed onto the bed.
Seeing Jiang Yaojie's current state, Jiang Ling knew that Jiang Yaojie had finally felt relieved.
Jiang Ling wanted to offer some words of comfort, but looking at Jiang Yaojie now, she ultimately left the room silently.
"Big sister, who were those two people just now?" Hu Yue'er walked in from outside and asked anxiously.
