"It looks like indigestion. What did you eat yesterday?" Tao Xiaoxi asked.
"That must be indigestion. She ate a whole piece of glutinous rice cake yesterday." Before the eldest sister-in-law could speak, the second sister-in-law Yang Rongzhi couldn't help but say, "It's like she's afraid I'll snatch it from her. Look, she doesn't have the stomach for it, but she eats so much."
The eldest sister-in-law lowered her head and muttered, "You are the one who is trying to snatch it from me."
Tao Xiaoxi did not comment. It was wrong for the eldest sister-in-law to be greedy, and the second sister-in-law was not a good person either. She actually hoped that the eldest sister-in-law would stand up straight and not be stepped on by the second sister-in-law all the time.
"What should we do? Will it affect the baby in my belly?" asked Mrs. Li.
"Eat some hawthorn, grapes, oranges, etc. Eat less today. If there are yams, you can eat some, but don't eat too much. Walk around in the yard more. It's not a big deal. Just go to the toilet and you'll be fine." Tao Tao Xiaoxi prescribed some medicine.
"But we don't have what you said at home." said the sister-in-law dejectedly.
"Let brother come with me to get it. I happen to have some left." Tao Xiaoxi said.
"How do you have these things? Grapes and oranges are not cheap." The second sister-in-law questioned.
"It's not cheap, but I usually give these to Beibei as snacks. We are doctors, so we do have some money." Tao Xiaoxi said calmly.
The second sister-in-law pursed her lips and said, "What are you showing off? You still live in a shabby cave——"
Before she could finish her words, she was stopped by her mother-in-law, "It's time to go to the fields, hurry up, go to the fields."
Yang Rongzhi was partly pushed out by her mother-in-law. She was extremely reluctant, but had no choice.
Then Mrs. Li came in again and called Tao Xiaoxi, asking her to go with her.
