Underneath Jing Weiyang's shawl was a strikingly designed backless little black dress. When her porcelain-white back was revealed, Chai Zhizi's eyes nearly popped out of her head.
"Sister, you're the most ruthless one!"
If President Shen saw this, he might go crazy. :)
"Of course!"
Jing Weiyang smiled and turned back to talk to Chai Zhizi, while pushing open the door to the private room.
Her shawl slipped down her shoulders, revealing her fair and perfect back. Her charming and delicate profile smiled in the shadows, as beautiful as a fairy emerging at midnight.
"Holy crap, she's a stunning beauty!"
Lan Yu glanced over casually and immediately exclaimed in amazement.
Then, with a grin, she said to the man beside her, "Hey, Yu-ge, am I blind? Why do I think this beauty looks a bit like my sister-in-law?"
The two were positioned close to the door, and Jing Weiyang happened to hear his voice.
She smiled faintly, wondering who would recognize her as a "great beauty," but when she looked up, she was met with a pair of eyes as cold as stars.
In the bright, neon-lit environment, a refined and aloof man in a white shirt and gold-rimmed glasses sat motionless.
Beneath the gold-rimmed glasses, a pair of exquisitely shaped eyes initially showed surprise, then suddenly sharpened, locking onto her gaze without blinking.
In an instant, Jing Weiyang froze, her hand gripping the doorknob trembling slightly.
She turned around abruptly, not even having time to ask Chai Zhizi behind her if she was blind, or how she could be hallucinating before even having a drink.
Then the woman let out a bloodcurdling scream: "Holy crap, what's Chen Yu doing here? Didn't you say your husband was away on a business trip?"
Alright, she can rest in peace now. :)
Chai Zhizi cried out before realizing what she had just said, and her face was even more unpleasant than Jing Weiyang's.
If the Crown Prince finds out that she brought his Crown Princess out on a date with a young man...
Just then, a song ended, and Chai Zhizhi's friend in the private room saw her and called out, "Zhizhi, what are you doing? Come in!"
For the first time in her life, Chai Zhizi wanted to kill someone, cut them into eighteen pieces, and dump their body in the wilderness.
Hey, if you can talk, shut up!
Jing Weiyang now believed that Chai Zhizi was unaware of the situation beforehand. After all, this "Mrs. Shen" had never expected that her husband, who was supposed to go abroad, would appear in this glittering nightclub.
It really is true, fate is against her. :)
Chai Zhizi had already started exchanging insults with her old friend, but she dared not look at the big Buddha sitting in the corner of the sofa.
Jing Weiyang was like a wilted flower, stiff and afraid to turn around.
Waaaaah, is there any way for her to escape now?
Then she heard a clear, pleasant voice, tinged with a soft laugh, that she had recently become extremely familiar with:
"Yes, since you're here, come in. What are you doing standing at the door?"
Jing Weiyang: ...
"Hehe, Mr. Shen is right, come on in, hahaha~"
Chai Zhizi awkwardly laughed and pulled Jing Weiyang's arm, dragging her inside, silently kowtowing and begging for forgiveness in her heart:
Sister, this has nothing to do with me! Your husband's gaze is terrifying, I can't take it!
Jing Weiyang swallowed hard, cursing inwardly: So be it if I die.
Then, after adjusting her shawl and wrapping her exposed shoulders tightly, she walked towards Chen Yu with her head held high and chest out, carrying a tragic air of facing death with equanimity.
Of course, it would look even more like it if the legs didn't shake so much.
Jing Weiyang: Retribution may be late, but it will never be absent :)
