Chapter 119 You'll be home soon.

Before entering the mountains, Luo Yan took out the hood and sunglasses she had scavenged from Liu Jingqiu's house from her spatial storage and put them on. She carefully wrapped her exposed skin with strips of cloth to ensure that she would not get scratched as she moved through the grass and trees.

After running into Rooster Mountain, Luo Yan stopped controlling her speed and followed the trail.

When they crossed the first hill, Luo Yan felt that Hua Li must be nearby.

When they crossed the second hill, Luo Yan felt that this must be the limit of Hua Li's capabilities.

As they crossed the third and fourth hills, Luo Yan kept wondering if she had made a mistake.

After crossing the fifth hill, Luo Yan felt that it was possible to cross another hill by following Hua Li's scent.

Perhaps it was because of the bond between mother and daughter, but Luo Yan could always distinguish Hua Li's unique scent from the air. The fresh and warm citrus fragrance mixed with a faint milky scent allowed her to accurately pinpoint Hua Li's location.

After crossing the fifth mountain, Luo Yan faintly heard a tiger's roar, which made her even more worried about Hua Li's safety.

Fortunately, the scent of Hua Li in the air grew stronger, which reassured Luo Yan somewhat.

Climbing to the top of the tallest Hopea tree, Luo Yan looked down and discovered wisps of white smoke rising from the mountain valley.

Hua Li left in a hurry without taking anything with him, and it was impossible for him to start a fire by rubbing sticks together. So who could he be?

Luo Yan had a dangerous intuition, and she had a premonition that Hua Li was probably nearby.

Luo Yan memorized the location, climbed down from the tree, and quickly ran towards the direction of the white smoke.

Upon approaching, Luo Yan discovered that the source of the white smoke was not a campfire, but a wooden cabin in the woods. There were people standing guard in front of the cabin with guns, and judging from their clothing, they were definitely not soldiers.

It would be dangerous if Hua Li were nearby; she had to find Hua Li and get her away as soon as possible.

"Stop! Don't run!"

Hearing this from the tree, Luo Yan peered through the gaps in the branches.

A small figure rushed out of the wooden house and ran towards her direction.

Take a break! ?

No wonder I wasn't home; I guess I came here.

Behind Xiao Xiu, the guard raised his gun, but the people who had chased after Xiao Xiu did not stop him.

Luo Yan took out a pebble she had picked up on the road from her pocket and threw it, which just happened to block the muzzle of the gun.

The bullet exploded in the barrel, and the gunman screamed and threw the gun away.

In those few seconds, Xiao Xiu was given a chance to live.

Xiao Xiu ran wildly toward the direction from which the pebble had come.

Glug! Glug!

Heavy footsteps approached from afar. Luo Yan looked over and saw Hua Li running at the speed of a 100-meter sprint, carrying a small wild boar in each hand.

Luo Yan looked up and saw that the heavy footsteps coming from not far behind Hua Li were from two wild boars that had gone berserk and were chasing after him.

Hua Li actually dared to snatch wild boar piglets to lure wild boars to eliminate the kidnappers and rescue Xiao Xiu. It seems that the spiritual spring water can not only rapidly improve physical fitness, but also quickly increase courage.

Hua Li ran to the front of the wooden house in the blink of an eye, threw the two wild boar piglets into the arms of the two men who were stunned, and turned to chase after Xiao Xiu.

The two men looked down at the little wild boar cub in their arms, then looked up at the two large wild boars charging towards them like madmen, and hurriedly hid inside the house.

The wild boar was about to save its cub when the humans closed the door.

Do you think this will stop their determination to protect their cubs? Of course not.

The wild boar bared its tusks and rammed into the door panel.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

The dull thud echoed through the valley.

In no time, the wooden door was smashed open.

Then, screams of agony, gunshots, and the roars of wild boars erupted into chaos.

Before long, a wild boar came out with two piglets.

After a while, two men with guns came out of the cabin and whispered in the direction Luo Yan was.

At this moment, Xiao Xiu had already run to the tree, looked up and saw Luo Yan in the tree, and happily waved to Luo Yan.

Hua Li, who ran over afterward, saw the two little ones, one in a tree and one under it. She first smiled broadly, then, with one hand on her hip and the other pointing at Luo Yan and then at Xiao Xiu, she gritted her teeth and uttered her classic line, "You wait until we get home..."

Luo Yan felt a chill on the back of her neck. She looked up and saw two men with guns walking towards her from the door of the wooden house. She was about to jump down from the tree and leave with Hua Li and Xiao Xiu.

Unexpectedly, an even more outrageous scene unfolded: Luo Shicheng came running, with a striped tiger hot on his heels.

The two armed men were so frightened by the tiger that their legs went weak. They wanted to run away but couldn't, and they couldn't even lift their hands to raise their guns.

Luo Shicheng dashed past the two men, and the tiger immediately swung its claws to knock away the two 'roadblocks'.

Luo Shicheng made a sharp turn and ran towards the wooden house, where a dark gun barrel was pointed at him from the window.

In a critical moment, Luo Yan threw three stones, blocking the muzzle of the gun, hitting the gunman in the right eye, and driving away the tiger that was chasing Luo Shicheng.

Luo Shicheng smashed the window like a cheetah, and with a flash of cold light in his hand, he stabbed the gunman in the chest.

He drew his knife and flung it away, stabbing it into the throat of the fat man who was raising his gun at him in the corner. With a spinning kick, he knocked out the skinny man who was swinging his knife at him.

Luo Shicheng landed on both feet and looked around. Five men, tightly bound together, were huddled together, staring at him with terrified eyes. A wild boar that had just been killed lay on the ground.

"Who are you?" Luo Shicheng asked the five men.

“We are hunters from the neighborhood. They captured us and said they wanted us to work for them.”

"What are you doing?" Luo Shicheng asked sharply, scrutinizing each of the five people.

"They didn't even tell you before you arrived..."

Luo Shicheng didn't ask any more questions. He picked up a rope, tied up the skinny man, and punched all five of them unconscious.

Stepping out of the wooden house, Luo Shicheng walked towards a banyan tree in the distance. Before he got close, he saw Hua Li leading Luo Yan and Xiao Xiu by the hand.

Luo Shicheng was shocked, relieved, and angry, pointing to one large and two small fingers.

"You wait, you'll be going home..."

Home is a warm harbor, not a torture chamber for your violence. Luo Yan wanted to protest, but her father's eyes could kill, so she decided to be flexible and not argue with him.

Hua Li walked up to Luo Shicheng, unusually feeling guilty.

"I got lost while being chased by those five bad guys and that's how I ended up here."

This matched the number of people tied up in the wooden house, and Luo Shicheng's expression eased slightly.

"Why risk bringing wild boar cubs here, huh?"

Hua Li dared not look into Luo Shicheng's eyes, which were burning red with anger, and stammered.

"Xiao Xiu has been captured by them, I must save Xiao Xiu."

Luo Shicheng looked down at Xiao Xiu, who felt a chill run down her spine from his gaze.

"I came to see Aunt Hua, but they accidentally found me."

Luo Shicheng, his face dark with anger, began to reprimand, "What good is it for you to come to see your Aunt Hua..."

"Luo Shicheng!"

Hua Li called out to Luo Shicheng.

"You're not allowed to talk like that about Xiaoxiu."

Xiao Xiu is too young. He only worried about me and didn't consider his own safety at all. Although what he did was wrong, his heart was sincere, and I can't let him be hurt.

Luo Shicheng let out a heavy sigh, and it took him a long time to suppress his anger.

"You're right, but if there's a next time, I'll beat up every single one of you."

If these were his soldiers, he would never wait for the next time, but facing this pair of big and two small ones, he really had no way to deal with them.
