Chapter 106 The Eve of the Exam 2
"I'll sleep on the bed, so where will you sleep?" Su Tao came in and found that there was only a large bed in the room, not even an extra bench. Usually, Jiang Dashi and He Chuan slept in the same bed.
"I'll just lie down on the table and take a rest." He Chuan pointed to the square table next to him and said calmly.
"That won't do. You can just make do with it at noon, but what about at night? Do you have to sleep on your stomach all night too?" Su Tao raised his eyebrows and said.
"It's okay. I can just use my old bedding to make a bed on the floor at night."
"No, that won't work. It's so cold, what if you catch a cold? You can sleep with me. The bed is big enough for you. It's not like we've slept together before, it's just sleeping." Su Tao's voice got lower and lower.
This was a crucial period; today's rest had a direct impact on tomorrow's exam. With He Chuan's current level, as long as he performed normally, getting into university was a sure thing.
"Well, okay." The man replied with a smile without any politeness.
Su Tao suddenly realized what was happening and glared at the man with a face full of dissatisfaction. He must have done it on purpose. With his age, how could he have found a room with only one bed just for her? He said he would sleep on the floor, but he didn't move his hands. His emotions were waiting for her to say that.
The man looked at Su Tao's coquettish expression, pursed his lips and smiled, then took Su Tao in his arms and fell on the bed, "Let's go to bed. The kang has just been heated and it's warm."
Su Tao cried out in surprise and fell onto the warm kang covered with thick bedding. The man then leaned over her, hugged her soft and boneless body tightly, and closed his eyes.
Seeing that the man was indeed sleeping soundly, Su Tao put his head close to the man's chest, put his arms around the man's waist, and slowly fell asleep.
Hearing Su Tao's steady and gentle breathing, the man slowly opened his eyes. His cold and narrow black pupils were now filled with tenderness. He lowered his head and gently kissed the woman's forehead. He adjusted the sleeping position of the woman in his arms, allowing her to sleep more comfortably, and then closed his eyes again.
After waking up from a nap, Su Tao stretched and opened her eyes, only to find the man lying on his side on the bed, staring at her.
"Why didn't you wake me up even though you woke up so early?" Su Tao said lazily.
"Since you're sleepy, I don't want to disturb you. We live nearby anyway, and it won't take much time to get to the exam venue." He Chuan said in a low voice.
Su Tao got up and tidied his clothes, then took the towel handed to him by the man and washed his face. Su Tao was stunned. It was hot?
"Just now, I estimated that you would wake up soon, so I got up and boiled some water. I have been keeping it hot." The man said, looking at Su Tao's surprised expression.
"Thank you." Su Tao stood on tiptoe and quickly kissed the man on the lips, stuffed the towel into the man's hand, and ran out.
"Hurry up, we still have to rush to see the examination room." The woman's cheerful voice came from outside the door like a melodious yellow oriole.
He Chuan curled up the corner of his mouth into a smile, shook his head, wrung out the towel in his hand and hung it up before turning around and leaving.
The examination venue was indeed very close to where they lived, and Su Tao and He Chuan arrived there in just over ten minutes.
The No. 1 Middle School in the county is called a middle school, but it is actually just a teaching building, 4 stories high. There is a map of the examination room locations posted at the school gate.
Su Tao and He Chuan are both on the 3rd floor, but they are not in the same classroom. He Chuan is in classroom 3-1, and Su Tao is in classroom 3-3.
"Let's go to the classroom and see where we can sit." Su Tao took He Chuan's hand and walked towards the teaching building.
