Chapter 130 I’ll take you somewhere tomorrow (2/2)

It seems that the rumors are not credible. Many neighbors look at He Chuan differently.

Many people who thought Su Tao had found a country bumpkin were now feeling unbalanced. The Su family was truly blessed. Their careers were flourishing, their wives were virtuous, their daughters were beautiful, and now they had found such an outstanding son-in-law. They were truly winners.

Many neighbors retorted, "I knew it! How could a picky woman like Su Taotao be willing to marry a country bumpkin with no talent?"

"Her fiancé's temperament shows that he is not an ordinary person."

Su Tao was naturally unaware of the changes in the rumors.

Just as Su's mother finished washing the dishes, she saw Su Tao and his family coming back. She asked, "Have you eaten yet? If not, I'll make you some noodles."

"Mom, stop working. We just came back after having dinner at Uncle Hechuan's house." Su Tao replied quickly.

Mother Su stopped what she was doing and asked, "How was it going?"

"It's pretty good. His uncle and aunt are very kind and like me very much." Su Tao said with a smile.

"That's good." Today, she was questioned by her neighbors. They said they saw Su Tao and his family get into a car. Everyone asked who Su's mother was. She didn't know, but she guessed that it was probably someone from He Chuan's uncle's family.

When Su's mother saw that He Chuan's uncle's family was so prominent, she became a little worried about Su Tao for a moment, wondering if they would look down on Su Tao.

Just now, she felt relieved when she heard Su Tao say that everything was fine and that he liked her very much.

"By the way, I went to your grandmother's house this afternoon and told her the news that you were back. She was so happy." Su's mother Su Tao narrated.

"I haven't seen my grandma for a long time. I'll take He Chuan to see her when I have time in a few days." Su Tao said happily.

Su's mother didn't inform Su Tao's grandmother, who hadn't been close to her over the years. Grandma Su had never been very fond of Su Ziqiang, her son. After her mother gave birth to a daughter, Su Tao, and had no children, she despised him even more, believing him to be a waste of money. She had often pressured Su Ziqiang to divorce her mother and remarry, but Su Ziqiang only managed to rescind his relationship with her by threatening to break off relations.

Every year, except for the necessary Chinese New Year or major holidays, the Su Tao family rarely visited each other. Father Su gave a fixed amount of child support to Grandma Su every month, but Grandma Su didn't want to see the Su Tao family at all even with the support.

This time, Su's mother did not plan to tell the other side that Su Tao was back. She would just inform them before Su Tao got married. They could come if they wanted to, but it didn't matter if they didn't want to.

"I'll go back to the guesthouse to rest first, and come back tomorrow morning. You should also have a good rest, and I'll take you to a place tomorrow." He Chuan said mysteriously.

"Where?" Su Tao's curiosity was aroused by He Chuan.

"You'll know tomorrow. I'm leaving." He Chuan resisted the urge to reveal the secret.

"What? So mysterious." Su Tao muttered as he watched the man leave.

"Yanzhi, would you like to sleep with Sister Taotao today?" Su Tao asked with a smile.

"Well, okay, I like sleeping with Sister Taotao." Yanzhi nodded in response.

Mother Su came out of the room, looked around and asked, "Where's He Chuan?"

"Ah, he went back to the guesthouse to rest. Where's my dad? Why can't I see him?" Su Tao also asked.

"He~ ran to Mr. Li's house across the street to play chess as soon as he finished eating." There is not much entertainment these days, and Su's father likes to play chess besides cooking.

"Oh, then I'll take Yanzhi to take a bath and rest first."
