Chapter 45 Catching Lobsters
These past few days, Su Tao, along with Tiedan and Erya, continued to gather pig grass. The riverside grass was almost finished, so they moved to the fields and ponds to gather another type of pig grass, goose intestines grass.
After cutting the grass for the pigs, Su Tao sat on the grass next to him to rest, thinking about what food he should make to sell at the black market tomorrow, as it was the weekend and also the market day. At the same time, he watched from afar with interest as Tiedan, Erya and several other friends were holding fishing rods by the pond, seemingly fishing.
The so-called fishing rod is actually a stick tied with a rope, with a small iron hook hanging on the rope, a simple homemade fishing rod. Some of the friends also had a small fishing net.
All I heard was cheering, as if they were in a competition. Tiedan started dancing with joy, feeling like he had won the game, while the other kids were dejected.
Tiedan and Erya ran towards Suta with buckets in hand. "Sister Taotao, look, I won! I caught a lot of lobsters."
Lobsters? Isn't this fishing? Su Tao instantly perked up and looked into the bucket. It was a sea of red, and lobsters were wriggling inside the small bucket.
It's like when you're at the end of your rope, you'll find another way out. Just now, Su Tao was racking his brains over what to do, and now here he is, having to choose crayfish.
"Tiedan, are there a lot of crayfish? Are they easy to catch?" Su Tao asked Little Radish Head. Su Tao had to determine the quantity first to estimate whether it was enough to sell.
"It's hard to say. There are still a lot of crayfish in the pond, but it's more difficult during the day because they all hide. It's much easier at night." Tiedan said, circling his head.
"Is that so?" Su Tao was a little disappointed, thinking it would be easy.
"If you like it, I'll catch some more for you." Tiedan comforted Su Tao as he looked at his depressed look.
"Really? Thank you so much, Tiedan." Su Tao's brilliant smile made Tiedan blush. He pulled Erya back and continued fishing for lobsters.
In one morning, Tiedan and his friends filled a small bucket with fish and gave it all to Su Tao.

When He Chuan came back from work at noon, he saw Su Tao happily preparing lobsters in the kitchen. He Chuan changed his clothes and put his arms around her slender waist from behind, "What are you doing?"
Su Tao held up the crayfish like he was presenting a treasure, "Look, crayfish, Tiedan and his friends gave all the crayfish they caught to me."
Then he lowered his head and said dejectedly, "It's a pity that the quantity is a bit small. Tiedan said that there are more crayfish in the evening."
"It's just crayfish. Don't take anything else casually in the future. I'll take you to catch some in the evening." He Chuan frowned, his tone a little unhappy.
"What's wrong? Tiedan gave it to me, not to anyone else. I won't accept other people's things casually." Su Tao said somewhat aggrievedly.
"You can't accept anything given by another man." The man tightened his grip on Su Tao's waist and whispered in the woman's ear.
The hot breath sprayed on Su Tao's ear, making it tingle. "What kind of man is Tiedan? He's just a little brat at best." Su Tao smiled and said, "Are you jealous?"
Su Tao turned to face He Chuan, pinched the man's cheeks with both hands, like an angry pufferfish, and said coquettishly: "How can you be jealous of even a child? Aren't you ashamed?"
The man met Su Tao's playful eyes, and a blush appeared on his dark face. He gently slapped away the rebellious little hand and said seriously: "What nonsense are you talking about? I just hope that if you have any problems, you can tell me and I will help you."
"Okay, so you said you would take me to catch crayfish in the evening. Is that true? I want lots of crayfish." Su Tao asked excitedly, changing the subject.
"Well, a lot of them. Why do you need so many crayfish?" He Chuan asked in confusion. Some people eat crayfish, but the shells are too hard, difficult to peel, and difficult to taste, so not many people eat them.
