Chapter 45 Catching Lobsters (2/2)

"Of course I ate it. As for why I need so much, I have my own uses. Don't worry about it for now." It wasn't that Su Tao didn't want to tell He Chuan that she wanted to sell it, but she didn't know much about buying and selling at the moment, and she wasn't sure if He Chuan would support her. Furthermore, she didn't know if she could sell it, and it would be so embarrassing if she couldn't. Better not to tell him for now, and find a chance to tell him later.

Su Tao spent the entire afternoon absentmindedly cutting grass for the pigs, anticipating He Chuan's evening lobster hunting. As soon as she finished cutting and handed in her assignment, she rushed home.

When He Chuan returned home, he saw Su Tao had already prepared a meal for him. Seeing her sparkling eyes looking at him expectantly, he couldn't help but smiled and shook his head.

After dinner, He Chuan washed the dishes and rested for a while until it got dark.

He Chuan took Su Tao to the river. The moonlight shone on the river, and the waves were shimmering. The water flowed slowly, and the still water reflected the water, which looked like a night pearl hidden under the water.

He Chuan handed the fishing rod to Su Tao, and Su Tao threw the hook with the bait into the river, splashing high water.

He Chuan saw the instructor and said, "Be gentler. You're scaring away all the fish and shrimps."

Su Tao raised his eyebrows, glanced at the man, and motioned, "Come on?"

The man drew an elegant arc with the fishing rod in his hand, and gently threw the bait out along the direction of the fishing rod, splashing only a small splash of water.

The woman snorted, pouted, turned her head back, and observed her fishing rod. From time to time, she pulled up the hook to see if there was anything hooked.

The man shook his head helplessly and said, "You won't catch anything like this. Be patient after you put the rod down. Don't lift it up too often. Wait until you feel the line fall down and then pull it up when you're hooked."

Su Tao was unconvinced and raised his head provocatively, "Who said I can't catch any fish? Let's have a competition. Do you dare? Let's see who catches the most. The loser can promise the winner a gift. What do you think? Do you dare?"

"Let's compete. Don't deny it if you lose." The man looked at the woman like a kitten with bared fangs and claws, and said indulgently and dotingly.

Seeing the man take the bait, Su Tao's lips curled up slightly. She was not as good as a man in normal shrimp fishing, but she had a cheating tool.

While the man wasn't paying attention, Su Tao took some diluted spiritual fluid from his yin tube and dripped it into the water next to the hook. One, two... Soon, the water in front of Su Tao was filled with crayfish, shrimp, and fish.

When Su Tao lifted the fishing hook, he saw that the fishing line was filled with densely packed reddish-brown crayfish.

Su Tao excitedly turned to the man and shouted, "Look! Look!"

He Chuan turned around and thought Su Tao had caught one, but he unexpectedly saw a bunch of red crayfish, like the red peppers strung on the door frame, the entire fishing line was full of crayfish.

He Chuan was a little surprised. How could there be so many lobsters this evening? Abnormally so. Only the area in front of Su Tao had a particularly large number of them. He had only caught a handful of them from the beginning till now. In Su Tao, lobsters were still constantly surging to the surface.

"Help me take the lobster down." Su Tao held up the fishing rod with the lobster hanging on it and said proudly to He Chuan.

He Chuan looked at Su Tao with a smug look on his face, but he didn't point it out and worked hard to pull the crayfish off the fishing line one by one.

Su Tao threw the empty fishing line back into the river. Soon, the line was full of crayfish again. Su Tao was having a lot of fun.

He Chuan was speechless as he watched the fish and shrimp surging up desperately. Could it be that fish and shrimp also like to look at beautiful women? He didn't know how to explain why the waves on his side were as clear as a mirror, while the fish and shrimp on Su Tao's side were clamoring.

Seeing these densely packed fish and shrimp, He Chuan didn't plan to use his hook to slowly fish. He picked up the bamboo basket beside him and scooped it into the water. He scooped up a full basket at a time. After scooping several times, the fish and shrimp in the water gradually became scarce and dispersed.

He Chuan picked up the bag of lobsters, which weighed at least 40 kilograms. It was a good harvest.
