Chapter 68: Food
Two days were not hard to endure, and it was the weekend in a flash.
Over the past two days, He Chuan has been a completely different person. He practices diligently every day and goes to rest promptly after finishing his afternoon practice. Everyone marvels at the sudden change in his work ethic. When everyone is baffled, Jiang Dashi explains that someone's partner has issued a death order. He Chuan packed his things early this morning, planning to go to the photo studio to pick up the photos before going directly.
The photo studio had just opened, and the photographer saw He Chuan standing at the door.
"Hey, are you here to pick up the photos?" the photographer greeted enthusiastically. He was deeply impressed by this customer, and he had something to ask for, so he had been keeping an eye out for his arrival time.
"Yeah," He Chuan replied indifferently, taking out the photo-collecting receipt from his pocket and handing it over.
"Come in quickly. Your photos were developed yesterday. Let me tell you, they are so beautiful, just like the stars in the movie." The photographer said excitedly as he led He Chuan inside.
He Chuan took the photo and examined it carefully. The tinted image was indeed beautiful. The woman in the photo had fiery red lips, curved eyebrows, and a bright smile. She sat dignifiedly on a chair in a red dress. The man standing behind her was handsome and strong, his head slightly lowered, gazing at the woman in the lower left corner, his eyes revealing infinite tenderness.
He Chuan was about to collect the person in the photo when a hand grabbed He Chuan and he looked along the arm.
The photographer said with an embarrassed look on his face, "Wait a minute, I have an unwelcome request. This is really too much to look at. Could you please let us develop an extra copy and hang it in the shop?"
He Chuan frowned and said nothing.
"If you're willing, this photoshoot is free and we'll refund it. Of course, if you really don't want to, we can't force you to do it. We won't just print them out and hang them up, so don't worry about that," the photographer explained. He figured most people would agree to it, considering the price was high. Especially since He Chuan's order was exempt from 10 yuan, it was no small amount.
"No, I don't want to hang it in your store. I don't want to see our photos next time I pass by your store." He Chuan refused firmly and ruthlessly cut off the photographer's delusion.
Then he turned and left, leaving the photographer with a stunned look on his face.
It was almost noon when I got home. When I opened the door, I saw Su Tao busy in the kitchen like a butterfly.
Su Tao heard the sound of the door opening, turned around and saw that it was He Chuan who came, and his eyes were filled with joy.
"Put the food aside first, and we'll be eating soon." Su Tao said with a smile.
After He Chuan put Li in the room, he went to the kitchen to help Su Tao bring the food to the living room.
Su Tao called He Yanzhi to come and have dinner together, and the family could finally sit together and eat together again.
He Chuan took out a photo and handed it to Su Tao, and kept another one for himself.
"Here it is~" Su Tao took the photo and looked at it in surprise.
He Yanzhi also curiously leaned over to look, "Wow, Sister Taotao is beautiful, and brother is so handsome, this photo is so beautiful." He Yanzhi exclaimed.
"If you like it, I'll take you with me next time and take a few photos of you alone. Then we'll take a family photo together." Su Tao said with a smile.
