Chapter 3 Care

Just now, everyone clearly saw the girl in front of them breaking an iron pipe with her bare hands. It was hard to imagine how such great strength could be burst out from her thin body.

"Girl, how did you accidentally fall into the water? Go home quickly and wipe yourself off, or you'll catch a cold."

The others also pricked up their ears to listen. Normally, this fool would not come to the river. The river did not look deep on the surface, but several children had drowned there. The villagers said that the river was not clean and would not allow their children to go there.

Turning around, she saw the concerned eyes of the other women and the spontaneous efforts of the women to wring out the water stains from her clothes. She couldn't help but feel warm inside: "I followed a dog to the river. It said it was thirsty, so I scooped water for it with leaves. As soon as I lay down, it kicked me into the river."

"Oh my god, I've never seen a dog that can speak human language. It's so strange. What does that dog look like?" My aunt covered her mouth and sighed, as if she really believed what I said.

"Is it a human or a dog?"

"He looks like a good person, says a lot of sweet words, and likes to deceive girls." That's all I have to remind them, and let them do the rest.

What kind of dog can say sweet nothings? Could it be a demon transformed into a spirit? Looks like there's going to be another version of my bedtime story tonight.

The sun was setting and the wind was blowing coldly. Her thin body stood out among the people. She rushed over quickly. Her hands were not warm at all, so she wrapped them around Lanlan to make her feel less cold.

"Lanlan, are you okay? Did they bully you? Tell your aunt and I'll tear their mouths apart."

"You're worried about me not getting bullied."

"Look, I forgot you were still wearing wet clothes. I should have taken you home to change clothes first. Come, I'll carry you on my back." As he said this, he squatted down, bent his waist, picked the person up on his back, and was about to get up to go home.

"Thank you, I'll thank you again when I have time."

On the way, Aunt Guihua walked very fast, fearing that the child would catch a cold if she was late.

Tian Xiaolan lay on her back, listening to her chattering, and closed her eyes with peace of mind.

"We'll be home soon," Tian Xiaolan looked around the home she was talking about. From the outside, it looked like a small courtyard with three rooms surrounded by earthen walls. There was a fence at the entrance with some vegetables planted inside. Facing the door was the main room. After entering the door, there was a rest room on the left. There was a big bed in the innermost part and a single bed at the end of the bed. Guihua carefully put her on the edge of the bed and hurried to the wardrobe to find clothes.

"Lanlan, come here and change your clothes first." Guihua said as she was about to unbutton Tian Xiaolan's jacket. Just as she touched the buttons, her hands were grabbed and she couldn't move.

"I can do it myself."

Guihua looked astonished. She used to dress her at home. Could it be that she was stimulated by something? She handed the clothes to Tian Xiaolan.

"Why are you looking at me? What's so good about me?" After taking the clothes, she could tell the front and back of the clothes. She felt someone was looking at her. She raised her eyes and met Guihua's concerned gaze.

"Do you have a headache? If you feel uncomfortable, let's go to the clinic and get some medicine."

"No, I'm just a little tired. I'll be fine after a short sleep. Don't worry. I used to feel foggy, but now it's clear as day."

The aunt realized that the child who usually could only babbled not only spoke so many words in one breath today, but also learned to be considerate of others. She turned her head and covered her face, thinking that God had opened his eyes and could not bear to let this poor child go to waste.

I went out to the kitchen on the right to boil some water for her to wash herself. In the water, the girl's face was small and yellow, but her eyebrows were curved, her eyes were bright, and she had a moving aura. She looked like she was in her teens.

Looking back, she was 21 years old when she traveled through time and was still studying at the Agricultural University. She was staying up late to make courseware when her vision went dark. In her dream, the noisy voices of the people in her dream sounded somewhat familiar. When she opened her eyes, she was here. Since she inherited her body, she must live well.

When Tian Xiaolan finished washing, her aunt came in and skillfully wiped her hair with a towel: "Do you still remember who pushed you into the water? Tell me and I will avenge you."

The village aunt is so fierce that no one can match her. If she takes action, she will definitely scold the person to death. However, the original owner has to come in person to avenge the vengeance and pay it back double.

"It's a dog."

"Do you think I will believe it? Tell me now." Guihua poked her head viciously.

"Auntie, I know you care about me. I want to handle this matter myself, don't worry."

"Do you remember who rescued you when you fell into the water?"

"I can't remember." The heroine shook her head. She only recalled that the tall and vague figure was a man, and she felt a bulge in his hand.

"You go to sleep first, and eat when you wake up." Cuihua had no choice but to tuck the quilt into her, close the door and go out.

The aunt looked for a handy weapon in the yard, picked up a stick and strode to cause trouble for Tian Tiezhu.

"You're a family that needs to be dealt with. Just wait for me."

"Don't go. We have no reason to go. Tian Tiezhu is her father. We are nothing to her. Besides, I heard that Lan Yatou didn't suffer any loss at the riverside."

Li Weihua hurriedly chased after her, stopped his aunt, and said helplessly that if anyone dared to say that his daughter was unfaithful to her husband, he would slap them twice, but this was not his daughter, not even in name, and her household registration was not in his house.

When Guihua heard what Li Weihua said, she was furious: "You didn't care about your child being bullied. How can I swallow this anger?"

"Think about it, the child has turned out to be a blessing in disguise and has become smarter. Isn't that worth celebrating? Let's prepare dinner for the child first. He's already tired, and it won't take long for him to get his revenge."

Cuihua Guihua glanced at the sky and found that school had not yet ended, so why did he come back?

As soon as I walked out of the door, a little boy came running over breathlessly, swinging his shoes in his hands and gesturing: "Teacher Li, Teacher Li, your shoes!"

On the way, Guihua looked at Xu Dabao, who was walking hurriedly, and asked curiously, "Why are Teacher Li's shoes in your hands, Dabao?"

"Teacher Li ran away when he heard something was wrong during class today. He went to the river but didn't see anyone, so he quickly turned around and went home. No matter how much I shouted at him, he didn't stop."

After a pause, he replied with a smile: "Thank you, Dabao, for running so far to deliver the shoes to Teacher Li. Why did you run so fast? The person who would make me suffer has not been born yet."

"Yeah, I know. I came back to give you some courage."

"Put on your shoes and take Dabao back to class."

Guihua skillfully picked some vegetables from the vegetable garden and brought them into the kitchen to prepare pancakes.

On the bed, Tian Xiaolan slept for a while and then began to dream. In the dream, a man was saying sweet words to a strange woman in a bamboo forest, and their behavior was very intimate.
