Gao Xiufang's injuries from being beaten a while ago haven't fully healed yet, and now she's being chased by Sheng Qian.
Sheng Qian ran as if she were on flat ground, and arrived in front of her in no time.
Gao Xiufang was so frightened that she rolled down a short distance. After finally managing to get up, a pair of feet appeared in front of her.
Sheng Qian stared down at her: "Why are you running?"
"What... what do you want to do?"
Gao Xiufang asked with a grim expression.
"I also want to ask you what you're doing, sneaking around following us like that?" Sheng Qian narrowed her eyes, a hint of danger in them.
Gao Xiufang said angrily, "Who followed you? I was just chopping wood nearby. You guys showed up on your own. What does it have to do with me?"
Sheng Qian stared at her: "You really weren't following us?"
"Who's following you?" Gao Xiufang shouted. "What are you two doing in the mountains, a lone man and a lone woman? Are you doing something shameful? Sheng Qian, I never thought you were this kind of person. It's true that you're promiscuous."
"Smack."
Sheng Qian slapped her on the head.
The beating left Gao Xiufang stunned.
"Can you please wash your mouth a little? Your words smell like feces."

“If I hear unpleasant things about what you see today tomorrow, you’ll suffer a worse fate than your brother,” Sheng Qian suddenly pinched her mouth and fed her a pill.

Gao Xiufang covered her neck and coughed violently.
Gao Xiufang coughed until tears streamed down her face, and she clutched her throat, trying to vomit up what Sheng Qian had fed her.

"What did you feed me?" Gao Xiufang asked, both shocked and anxious.
Sheng Qian patted the dirt off her hands. "It's poison to shut you up. You'll need the antidote every month. If I hear any bad rumors and find out they came from you, you'd better prepare to die from the poison. Remember, come to me next month for the antidote, or you'll be in deep trouble."
Upon hearing this, Gao Xiufang's dark eyes widened.
His eyes were filled with terror and anger.
"Sheng Qian, you poisonous woman, give me the antidote now!"
“Come to my place next month to pick it up,” Sheng Qian said, stepping back before striding into the mountains.
Gao Xiufang got up and chased after him.
But when she caught up, Sheng Qian and Zhao Niangen were nowhere to be seen.
Gao Xiufang immediately started cursing again.
"Are you sure nothing will happen? That Gao Xiufang has a sharp tongue. If she tries to distort the truth, your reputation will definitely be ruined."
As they entered the largest part of the coal mine, Zhao Niangen said with some unease.
Sheng Qian said nonchalantly, "She won't tell."
What are we doing here?
"Looking for gold."
"ah?"
“I think there might be gold in that area. We need to get some professionals to come and take a look. If we find gold in this area, it could be another way to make a fortune.”
Zhao Niangen: "..."
He felt that Sheng Qian was dreaming of getting rich.
"You don't believe me?"

Zhao Niangen asked blankly, "Sheng Qian, what are you smelling?"
Sheng Qian scooped up a handful of mud and sand, letting it trickle down between her slender, green fingers.
She smiled, a smile as gentle as the spring breeze, softly blowing into people's hearts.
Zhao Niangen stared at the beautiful girl with a smile in her eyes, and for a moment he was completely mesmerized.
Sheng Qian's thin lips moved slightly, "Smell it, doesn't it smell like money?"
Zhao Niangen instantly snapped back to reality. He shook his head, about to say something, when he saw the girl's beautiful smile suddenly turn sharp. Her cold eyes, as frosty as ice, stared at a spot: "Who's there?"
Yue Niangen was startled and looked over.
But I saw nothing.
A moment later, a tall figure emerged from behind the thick grass.
Song Wei's eyes held a complex expression: "How did you find out about me?"
“I did find out,” Sheng Qian said. She hadn’t fully recovered yet. If she were at her peak, she wouldn’t have given Song Wei such a close chance.
Song Wei once again felt that the girl in front of him was different from others.
He's a master of stealth.
However, it failed with Sheng Qian.
This was simply unbelievable to him.
Sheng Qian knew that Song Wei was no ordinary person, so she didn't reveal too much.
"Did Elder Ye send you?"
"yes."
"Perfect timing. I also need to go see Elder Ye. Have you finished the things I asked you to do?"
"The items have arrived."
“Let’s go then,” Sheng Qian said. She had come up the mountain to check, but she wasn’t a professional in this field and couldn’t tell whether it was possible to pan for gold.
Song Wei didn't ask any more questions and went down the mountain with Sheng Qian and the others.
Zhao Niangen found it all very strange.
He vaguely felt that Sheng Qian had brought him up the mountain to teach him something, but he was interrupted by the appearance of this person before he could.
