Chapter 261 The Attack of Leopard Beast Chieftain Ian, Guo Xiaoxiao's Skill Assistance

Guo Xiaoxiao didn't resist and jumped onto Carlos's back. With him by her side, she felt incredibly safe.

The two wandered into the jungle, and Carlos, worried that Guo Xiaoxiao was hungry, picked a fruit for her.

Some plants in the Northern Hemisphere are the same as those in the Southern Hemisphere; Carlos ate them and confirmed they weren't poisonous before giving them to her.

Guo Xiaoxiao took it and started eating. It tasted similar to an apple, and it was huge, a vibrant green, about the size of a dragon fruit. She couldn't hold it with both hands, so she had to hug Carlos's back while eating it.

As he walked, Carlos noticed a sound. He went forward and concealed his presence.

Finally, a cheetah charged towards them at full speed, but Carlos dodged the attack with a swift movement.

The cheetah stood in front of them

He transformed into human form, a handsome man, naked except for his animal skins. He had refined features, golden-brown hair, azure eyes, a perfect physique, and exuded explosive power. Wow, a handsome model!

He stared coldly at Carlos.

"A serpent beast, and it even brought this female with it."

Carlos asked unfriendly, "Who are you?"

"You trespassed on my territory, and before I even asked you anything, you're already questioning me."

The arrogant and domineering man with golden-brown hair

Carlos sneered: "Heh, who do you think you are, daring to act so arrogantly in front of me?"

Golden-brown hair fluttered in the wind, his eyes gleaming with bloodthirsty killing intent. The orc moved with incredible speed, striking again as the attacking beast swiftly passed by.

Carlos quickly dodged to the side, and the orc missed his target. Guo Xiaoxiao grabbed Carlos's robe tightly and said...

"Tell them about your feelings and reason, don't rush into a fight."

The leopard beast, having clearly seen Guo Xiaoxiao's appearance, did not relent in its attack because of her beauty. Showing no mercy, unlike typical males, it issued a threatening statement.

"Prepare to die!"

Guo Xiaoxiao shouted

"Wait... I have something to say."

Then, soften the tone.

"You said this is your territory, so we can just leave. Stop fighting; it's just getting everyone hurt. What's the point?"

"We were just passing by. This is a desolate wilderness, and you didn't mark it, so how were we supposed to know? If you didn't like coming in, you should have put up a sign that says, 'Beware of ferocious leopards, keep out.' There's nothing here; it wasn't intentional."

The leopard paused, but only hesitated for a moment before assuming its fighting stance and attacking again.

If Carlos weren't worried about Guo Xiaoxiao's safety, he would have definitely fought her.

He placed Guo Xiaoxiao on a tree trunk, sitting quite high up, both to ensure her safety and to prevent her from running away.

After telling him to be careful, Guo Xiaoxiao obediently stayed on the tree trunk, looking down at their standoff. The leopard glanced at her sideways.

His disdain was obvious; Guo Xiaoxiao thought he was too violent. Did he really have to kill them? He wouldn't listen to reason. He deserved to be taught a lesson.

Carlos smiled contemptuously, swishing his tail across the branch and leaving a dent.

"Don't go too far. If you really anger me, I guarantee you won't leave this forest alive."

Leopard Beast glared at Carlos, judging from his speed and strength that Carlos was quite powerful, perhaps even capable of fighting him to a draw.

He was fearless; he hadn't encountered a formidable opponent in a long time, and today was the perfect opportunity for him to have a proper fight.

The fight between the two escalated, and the surrounding trees were destroyed, with vegetation flying everywhere.

Guo Xiaoxiao was anxious up there, but couldn't help. She could only worry helplessly, reminding Carlos from time to time to watch out for the surrounding tree trunks so he wouldn't get hit.

"Bang"

Suddenly, a piece of wood hit Carlos on the shoulder, but his expression remained unchanged.

Guo Xiaoxiao was startled. "I hope nothing's wrong."

Seizing the opportunity, the leopard beast slammed its paw down on Carlos.

Carlos nimbly dodged

"Bang bang bang bang"

The leopard beast kept attacking Carlos, and Guo Xiaoxiao was extremely worried. She thought of using her skills to help Carlos.

Without hesitation, the power enhancement was bestowed upon Carlos. Carlos's body flashed with red light twice, and he became even more powerful.

Carlos was surprised by the changes in his body. He glanced at Guo Xiaoxiao, who nodded to him, convincing him that it came from her ability.

He had once heard the deceased wolf-beast Arak mention that Guo Xiaoxiao possessed witchcraft, but he hadn't taken it seriously, assuming he'd been mistaken.

So it really is true! Carlos throws himself back into battle.

The leopard beast is starting to take an interest in Guo Xiaoxiao. Was the light on the snake beast just now created by her? What does that mean?

The fight was fierce, and the two were evenly matched, with neither gaining the upper hand.

With his enhanced abilities, Carlos gradually gained the upper hand. The leopard beast used its racial advantage to dodge the fatal attack and wasn't swept away by Carlos, but it was clear that he was struggling to evade.

Seeing that Carlos was about to win, Guo Xiaoxiao gradually relaxed.

At that moment, the leopard darted out and disappeared into the depths of the forest.

Carlos warily surveyed his surroundings, his ears suddenly twitching.

Guo Xiaoxiao sensed something was wrong and called out.

"Carlos! Watch out!"

Carlos looked up sharply as the leopard beast swooped down from above, waving its claws at him.

"Oh my god!!" Guo Xiaoxiao covered her eyes in fright.

Carlos raised his tail to block, drawing blood from the wound, but remained calm and composed. He knew he couldn't win a direct attack against the leopard beast, so he resorted to a sneak attack.

Ian

Who is it again?

Guo Xiaoxiao looked over and saw several orcs emerging from the forest, some carrying large clubs and others carrying wild boars, as if they had just returned from a hunt.

There were seven or eight orcs in total. Guo Xiaoxiao couldn't help but worry; they were with the leopard beasts, and if they fought, Carlos wouldn't be in a good position.

Upon seeing Carlos and the ravaged trees, the orcs glared angrily and charged forward without a second thought, brandishing their weapons.

"Roar~~"

The leopard roared and gathered seven or eight of its companions. A fierce battle ensued, trees were ravaged, and leaves flew everywhere.

Carlos's muscles were strong and muscular, and although the leopard beast's teeth and claws were sharp, each attack was blocked.

Guo Xiaoxiao squatted in the tree, unsure of what to do. She couldn't get involved at all; she could only play a support role.

They used skills on Carlos and healed him whenever he was injured. After a while, Carlos was unharmed, while the leopard beasts were all more or less wounded.

The leopards grew increasingly apprehensive and frustrated as the fight progressed. They were the bravest and fiercest cheetahs in their pack, yet they couldn't even handle a snake-like beast—it was a disgrace!

And what's with that female? She reached out her hand to the snake-beast and a magic circle appeared—it seemed like witchcraft.

The orc who initially fought Carlos, named Ian, was their chieftain. He stopped attacking and said...

"Okay, I'm done playing. Let's end this here."

Carlos assumed he had admitted defeat, and normally he would have killed him, but with Guo Xiaoxiao in his possession, he had to consider her safety.

Before he could speak, Ian's pupils changed color, turning dark red. He stared intently at Carlos, a chilling smile playing on his lips.

Carlos suddenly felt a chill run down his spine, a sensation he had never experienced before. His half-human, half-snake form vanished; his snake tail had automatically reverted to legs. He tried to transform into his beast form, but no matter what he did, he couldn't.
