Back in Beast City, she discovered that she wasn't just suffering from poor sleep quality; her back aches and pains were tolerable.
Arthur, really, how could he treat me so roughly? He bumped my back when he pressed down on me.
Dinner was barbecue, from Arthur's BBQ. Perhaps because she was in a bad mood, she didn't cook it well, and Guo Xiaoxiao could only barely swallow it.
Arthur also prepared honey water for her. After drinking it, Guo Xiaoxiao felt much refreshed and continued eating the barbecue. After finishing, she went to take a shower.
Cang Jue complained, "The meat looks a bit burnt. You're the Beast King in Beast City, and you can't even grill meat anymore?"
After dinner, Guo Xiaoxiao took a deep shower. When she came out, several males sat around the table, with Arthur in the center.
He thought about it for a long, long time, and then he stopped worrying and said...

He could only endure it; a couple of slaps wouldn't hurt. Arthur even let her hit him during mating, and although he used his power-up, it didn't seem to have caused any harm.

"To be fair, I think the order should still be linked to when we meet, starting with Mickelson..."

Carlos is a completely different story; he was the last one to meet Guo Xiaoxiao. Does he have to be the last one in everything?
Xiaoxiao doesn't like ranking people by ability, so he'll use age instead.
“We’re all pretty familiar with each other now, Xiaoxiao. I have a suggestion: I think we should assign them according to age, from oldest to youngest, and so on.”
"Strength isn't important, but older people like me don't have much time left. If I don't hurry, having children later will be a problem."
Carlos said the problem wasn't really a problem, just a matter of order; he didn't say anyone was excluded, so it was an overreaction.
"It's okay, the ranking doesn't matter, everyone has a chance."
Carlos: "I understand. I'm not talking about rankings. Give us older folks more opportunities. It doesn't matter for them who are young. Arthur and I are getting old, so if we want to have kids, we'll just have to increase the frequency."
After he finished speaking, the entire room fell silent, probably not expecting such a move.
Arthur was filled with a mix of frustration and resentment. He was used to solving problems with his fists; asking him to calmly discuss things or argue with them was simply not for him.
Randy, being the youngest and first, was unwilling.
"Arthur is one thing, he's already had a litter of snake pups, and you're still thinking about increasing the number? I haven't even had a litter yet."
Wow, Randy, who's usually so quiet, is actually showing some backbone.
Carlos choked, realizing he'd forgotten about the little snake cub. Mickelson continued...
"There are plenty of men this age in the beast world who haven't found a female yet, Xiaoxiao, don't be fooled by him."
Cang Jue proudly said, "Xiaoxiao and I have been mating almost every day for the past month and a half, except during her heat. She might already be pregnant with my child. I'll take her to A Luo's place to see her later."
A month and a half has passed since that incident, and Cang Jue is bringing it up again; this is bound to incite public outrage!
Mickson: "Xiaoxiao, look at Cangjue, thirty days isn't enough, should we extend it to sixty days?"
Cang Jue looked smug, and even Guo Xiaoxiao couldn't stand it anymore. Guo Xiaoxiao threatened...
"Stop provoking them, or they really won't mate for a year, and you'll die of pent-up frustration."

Guo Xiaoxiao didn't understand the optimal reproductive age for male beasts in their world. Being older was fine; they were all incredibly virile during mating and didn't believe that age meant shorter duration, or that older beasts could last longer. Carlos and Arthur were a perfect example.
Guo Xiaoxiao accepted the heavy responsibility of procreation, becoming part of a family and still bearing two children for someone else. Besides, children aren't difficult to raise; they're like little snakes—sensible and obedient, how wonderful!
The poor little snakes are always forgotten. Even after finding Guo Xiaoxiao's hiding place, Carlos ignores them again, forcing the snakes to eventually return to their den in the Beast City.
