Chapter 393 Finally, we'll settle down in the grotto. A return to familiar surroundings!

Arthur and Ling Feng locked eyes, sparks flying, their auras escalating.

Ling Feng didn't move, but Arthur launched the first attack.

Arthur's figure flashed, and he charged towards Ling Feng with tremendous force, throwing a powerful punch.

Ling Feng was prepared. He kicked up his right leg, colliding fiercely with Arthur's left fist. The deafening sound of the impact echoed through the valley, and Ling Feng staggered back five steps before finally stopping, his face flushed red.

Arthur snorted coldly and continued his assault on Ling Feng, his speed and strength increasing with each attack.

Ling Feng's skill was activated, instantly transforming him into a blur. The two figures constantly intersected; the wind attribute power increased his agility, and driven by the wind, Arthur could no longer see Ling Feng's figure clearly.

This is his ultimate move; he hadn't used it earlier because he wanted to slowly wear him down. Arthur isn't so easily defeated.

So what if he can't see him? He can't keep using the afterimage technique forever. He just waited quietly, hoping Ling Feng would reveal a weakness.

Unfortunately, Ling Feng was clever and perfectly avoided these situations.

The two eventually fought for more than a dozen rounds in a short period of time, neither able to gain the upper hand.

Arthur's patience finally reached its limit.

With a roar, he transformed into a ferocious and menacing figure.

A terrifying aura emanated from his body, and Arthur's form continued to grow, transforming in the blink of an eye into a giant tiger several meters long, which snapped at the fleeing Ling Feng.

"Awoo~~"

Ling Feng's figure appeared so small and fragile in the tiger's mouth. Ling Feng's claws made tiny cuts on the tiger's hard skin, but they couldn't hurt the white tiger at all.

Ling Feng also transformed into a tiger, two sharp fangs protruding from its mouth, clashing with Arthur's fangs. Sparks flew, and the white tiger, in pain, released its grip, allowing Ling Feng to escape.

"Bang!"

Ling Feng's butt was slapped and sent flying.

Carlos was shocked: Such formidable power!

"Aww!"

Ling Feng screamed in agony; his tailbone was broken. He roared in despair and turned to run.

His disheveled departure was a stark contrast to his earlier encounter with the arrogant Ling Feng.

Arthur stopped attacking, transformed into human form, and watched quietly. He only wanted the cave; if he lost, Ling Feng would leave the cave—it was their agreement. But Carlos issued an order...

"We'll send people to chase him, but he'll run away and then come back looking for us. This is troublesome."

Seeing that even their leader was running away, the stray beast wisely refrained from fighting with them and followed Ling Feng in pursuit.

The power of the rogue beasts is not what it used to be. Following a powerful five-star beastman is worse than fighting alone in a small group.

Someone has to take the lead eventually. Although Ling Feng is injured, the stray beasts have to follow him to maintain their living space.

Carlos watched all this with displeasure. When did he become so loyal? Before, he was always the one who tried to kill him when he was sick, and even tried to ambush him while he was hibernating.

Ling Feng was almost crippled, yet he still followed along…

These are truly incomprehensible stray beasts. Arthur guessed that given the circumstances, chasing after them now wouldn't be worthwhile. Even with Ling Feng dead, there are still thousands of people left. If they can control Ling Feng, the stray beasts won't dare to cause trouble or provoke them again.

"Let's not chase after them. Let's clean up outside first, otherwise the females will feel nauseous and want to vomit if they see us."

Carlos: "You're really confident in yourself."

Arthur: "Of course, my abilities rank first in the entire continent."

Carlos: "..."

The beastmen: "..." (Shameless!)

"Arthur, it looks like he has a broken tailbone. These kinds of injuries are very difficult to heal, and even if they are, the person will be crippled."

An orc said

"Who told you that? You didn't have much strength, you didn't even bleed."

Arthur snapped, "Stop talking nonsense and get rid of that ring of corpses outside!"

The helpless orcs, having just finished their battle, now had to start cleaning up the battlefield.

The corpses outside were covered in maggots. The sight of these maggots immediately brought to mind parasites, and some of the orcs were so alarmed they wouldn't even touch them. It was Farai who resolved the situation.

Ling Feng dragged his badly injured body and ran wildly in the northeast direction. He didn't know where that was, but he knew that as long as he got there, he would be absolutely safe.

Ling Feng dared not rest; his buttocks ached terribly, but he forced himself to keep going in order to survive. The wounded tiger ran at the speed of a leopard.

The stray animals following behind couldn't outrun him; it's unclear who was injured.

Ling Feng only stopped running when he reached a desolate desert. He was too exhausted to run any further. Leaning against the sand, he gasped for breath, feeling pain in every muscle in his body. His tailbone was broken.

Ling Feng lay on the ground resting for a long time before he regained his strength and sat up. Enduring the pain, he activated his skill.

The stray beast was completely abandoned by him. It tried to find him, but couldn't. Ah, where did he go? He vanished in the blink of an eye.

Guo Xiaoxiao and her group waited for a long time, but there was no sign of Arthur returning. They tried to contact him, and he said he had dealt with the stray beasts and was coming to pick them up next time.

Guo Xiaoxiao: "No need to come back for us, we'll come ourselves. The wolf beast should be able to find its way."

Arthur: "No, I'll bring some men to pick you up. The stray beast has escaped, and I'm afraid you'll be ambushed along the way."

Guo Xiaoxiao: "You two got into a fight, didn't you? Were you and Carlos injured?"

Arthur: "It's alright. If you fight me, only the other person will get hurt."

Guo Xiaoxiao rolled her eyes: "Fine, I'll wait for you here."

Arthur was eager to return, and he led the orcs back with remarkable speed. He transformed back into his beast form and raced off.

The two groups met up, and Guo Xiaoxiao and the remaining orcs were taken to the cave. The cave looked the same as before, but there were obvious signs of a fight. Blood hadn't been wiped clean on the ground, and the rock walls were covered with claw marks.
