Chapter 9 Support

Chapter 9 Support

Zhao Dahu was furious. He took a few steps forward and pushed Pingping to the ground with his small hand.

He looked disdainful and said sarcastically, "I bullied An'an, and I also bullied you, so what can you do about it?"

As he spoke, he spat and sneered, "You two are born of a mother but have no mother to care for you, what do you have to fight me with! If you're bullied, will she help you? Will she lend you any food? You two little good-for-nothings!"

Pingping quickly scrambled to her feet, her small chest heaving rapidly. "No way! My mother is perfectly fine, it's not like what you're saying!"

Zhao Dahu snorted coldly, crossed his arms in front of his chest, and looked disdainful.

It's true that like father, like son.

Wan Qiqi discovered that Zhao Dahu and Aunt Zhao's actions and expressions were exactly the same, and their tone of voice was also the same, even more arrogant than his mother.

Is this what they mean by "a newborn calf is not afraid of a tiger"?

She just wanted to teach the kid a lesson today. How dare he bully her kid in front of her and even insult her kid by saying he was "born of a mother but not cared for by one." That's just too much!

Wan Qiqi cleared her throat, about to speak, when Zhao Dahu saw her and his face immediately turned pale!

He was so frightened that he took several steps back, tripped over a mud puddle, and sat down on the ground with his whole body trembling.

Is this a staged accident scam?

Wan Qiqi was helpless. She hadn't even started, so why was she so scared?

She realized that she had greatly underestimated the "deterrent power" this body had over people!

With a soft sigh, Wan Qiqi walked up to An'an, helped her up, and gently patted the dust off her bottom.

She hugged An'an tightly and coaxed, "An'an, be good, don't cry, Mommy will make you something delicious!"

"Ugh... good... Big Tiger, you're bad..." An An pouted with red eyes, looking as if she had suffered a great injustice, but she was secretly delighted.

Her mother hugged her twice today!

Wan Qiqi discovered that An'an was teachable; she seemed more clever than Pingping and even knew how to tattle.

However, An An is quite brave. Even when faced with someone older or larger than herself, she still stands in front of her younger sister to protect her!

Wan Qiqi glanced at Zhao Dahu, pondering how to teach the kid a lesson.

However, just like before, before she could make any move or even say a word, the person on the other end burst into tears.

His cries echoed throughout the courtyard.

"Which heartless bastard bullied my son?" Aunt Zhao came out with a spatula in her hand. When she saw Wan Qiqi with her two sons in the yard, a cold smile appeared on her lips. "Oh, the eldest daughter-in-law of the Chen family!"

She looked at Wan Qiqi holding An'an with an incredulous expression, and even wiped her eyes as if to confirm whether it was true or not.

She had known Wan Qiqi ever since Wan Qiqi married into Lotus Village, and she knew exactly who Wan Qiqi was.

Wan Qiqi only held her two children for two days after giving birth, and then ignored them, as if they weren't her children at all.

This was the first time Aunt Zhao had ever seen anything like it. She glanced at Wan Qiqi and said, "What are you doing here, Chen family's eldest daughter-in-law? I don't have any grain to lend you!" Then, she looked at Zhao Dahu on the ground and then at Wan Qiqi again. "Now, Chen family's eldest daughter-in-law is even bullying children?"

Wan Qiqi rolled her eyes. An'an had been crying for a while but Aunt Zhao hadn't come out. As soon as Zhao Dahu started crying, Aunt Zhao came out immediately. It was obvious that she was bullying An'an!

"Did Aunt Zhao see me bullying him?" Her eyes showed a hint of innocence.

"He was crying, and you still say you didn't bully him?" Aunt Zhao's eyes widened, looking quite shrewish.

Wan Qiqi ignored her and looked down at Zhao Dahu, whose eyes were darting around. "Dahu, tell me, did your aunt bully you?"

Hearing the voice, Zhao Dahu was terrified and hid behind Aunt Zhao, trembling. "I...I..."

"Big Tiger, tell your aunt, okay?" Wan Qiqi said gently, tilting her head.

But Zhao Dahu found the other person's appearance terrifying and didn't want to continue. "No...no, Auntie didn't bully me." After saying that, he ran away!

Seeing her son's lack of ambition, Aunt Zhao scolded him a few times, then glanced at Wan Qiqi and said, "Even a child dares to threaten others? How shameless! Has he not washed his face in eight lifetimes?"

Wan Qiqi rolled her eyes again. "Isn't Aunt Zhao the same? Spoiling the child like that, aren't you afraid of spoiling him?"

"How I teach my son is none of your business, you wicked woman." Aunt Zhao glanced at Chen Yongnian behind Wan Qiqi, then turned and went into the house.
