As time passed, the temperature slowly dropped, and Qiao Mo stopped cutting fish. She continued fishing while waiting for Kang Mingyuan. However, it was almost four o'clock, and Kang Mingyuan still hadn't come. She couldn't sit still any longer, so she put away all the fishing rods, put on her bow and arrow, picked up her machete, released her spiritual sense, and walked in the direction where Kang Mingyuan had set out.
Kang Mingyuan was walking in the forest without concealing his traces. Qiao Mo used her spiritual sense to clear the way and advanced at a forced march speed according to the traces he left behind. An hour passed and no one was seen. Qiao Mo increased her speed again. Half an hour later, Kang Mingyuan appeared in her spiritual sense.
"Oh my God, there is such a large wolf pack in this mountain." Qiao Mo saw Kang Mingyuan fighting with a pack of wolves. He exclaimed in his heart, took out his bow and arrow and ran over.
She did not run over to fight alongside him, but climbed up a tall pine tree, stood on a thick branch, then drew her bow and shot an arrow. As the sound of arrows breaking through the air rang out, several wolves surrounding Kang Mingyuan fell to the ground one after another.
The leader wolf spotted Qiao Mo standing on the branch, howled, and called several wolves to rush over.
Qiao Mo knew that the leader wolf was the most dangerous one, so he locked onto it with his spiritual sense and fired three arrows in succession. With the sound of breaking through the air, two arrows hit the leader wolf's eyes, and the last arrow hit the wolf that was rushing in front.
With the leader dead, the other wolves lost their backbone, and with the two of them carrying a dangerous aura, they fled in all directions. Qiao Mo and Kang Mingyuan both knew that wolves were the most vengeful creatures, so they dared not let them escape. So, the two of them went all out, one used a bow and arrow to deal with those who ran away, and the other used a machete to chop at those who fell behind. In less than half an hour, a small wolf pack of more than 20 wolves was destroyed.
"Brother Yuan, are you okay?" Qiao Mo jumped down from the tree, ran over, and looked him up and down to see if he was hurt.
"No, look, there's not a drop of blood on your body." Kang Mingyuan turned around several times in front of her.
"Those wolves are really blind. They actually dared to offend you." Qiao Mo saw that not even a drop of real blood was on him, so he knew that his fighting power had improved by more than one level in the past two years. It seemed that the alien inheritance was indeed extraordinary.
"Momo, I'm sorry for making you worry." Kang Mingyuan hugged her and bent down to kiss her forehead deeply.
"Brother Yuan, what should we do with these wolves?" Qiao Mo asked, pointing at the dead wolves.
"Momo, can your storage bag still hold more?" Kang Mingyuan wanted to take all the wolves with him. Not to mention the wolf meat, even the wolf skins were worth a lot of money.
"Yes, but it can only hold these. It may not be able to hold much other things." Qiao Mo nodded and put all the wolves into the space room.
"Let's go." Kang Mingyuan saw that she had collected all the wolves, put the bow and arrow on her back, and put the machete into the storage bead, then he took Qiao Mo's hand and walked towards the front.
"Brother Yuan, aren't you going fishing this afternoon? Why did you wait until now?" Qiao Mo asked curiously. She knew that Kang Mingyuan was a man with a strong sense of time, and he must have his reasons for being late.
