Chapter 36 Pond
"I'm a man, but I'm not made of iron. After a day of farm work, I'm so tired I can't even stand up straight. I come home to cook, and you're still complaining about this and that. Who can stand that?" Chu Maoshen thought to himself, wasn't it just a mention of Qiao Mo? He was just making a casual analogy, with no other intentions, as if he had committed a heinous crime.
"You cooked, but was it tasty?"
"If you can't eat it, don't eat it." Chu Maoshen also got angry and stood up and walked out.
"Chu Maoshen, if you have the guts, then go ahead." When Liu Ruoling saw him walking out, she was so angry that she swept everything on the table to the ground.
The crackling sound brought Chu Maoshen back to his senses. He turned around and said, "This is my room. If anyone wants to be in it, it's yours."
"Chu Maoshen, you are cruel." Liu Ruoling stood up, glared at him hatefully, stomped her feet and ran out.
Chu Maoshen looked at everything on the ground, his face full of bitterness, and finally had to clean up on an empty stomach.
Qiao Mo didn't expect that they would start arguing so soon. It seemed that the perfect male protagonist in the book was just like this. All the beauty in the book was based on the sacrifice of the protagonist.
"What is their relationship? How dare Liu Ruoling treat Chu Maoshen like this?" Han asked curiously.
"They grew up together as childhood sweethearts. It seems that Liu Ruoling's father is the boss of Chu Maoshen's father." Qiao Mo recalled the plot in the book.
"No wonder she dares to use Chu Maoshen as a male servant. It seems she has a good father." A hint of sarcasm flashed in Han Yimi's eyes.
"Looking at the situation, they won't be able to grow up together." Kang Mingyuan had a different idea. In his opinion, Chu Maoshen was not someone who could compromise.
"What happens to others has nothing to do with us." Qiao Mo sneered in her heart: She wanted to see if they could still be as comfortable as in the book now that she was here.
"What Mo Mo said is right. What happens to others has nothing to do with us. The most important thing is to live your own life well." Han nodded in agreement.
The quarrel between Chu Lu and the other man was just a small episode, and they didn't take it to heart at all.
After a few people finished their breakfast chatting and laughing, Han Yimo was responsible for cleaning the table and washing the dishes, while Qiao Mo washed his face with water and went back to the house.
She took out her eighth grade math book and started reading. After finishing two periods, she began to do homework. An hour later, she finished the exercises. She stood up and stretched her body before continuing to read and do homework. The whole morning passed in her study. In the blink of an eye, it was eleven ten before she got up and went to the kitchen to cook.
Kang Mingyuan had already started the fire and was cooking. Seeing that there were not many vegetables at home, she had to go to her private plot to pick some. She picked a few eggplants, a handful of cowpeas, a handful of water spinach, and some green and red peppers.
