Shen Miao spent two days making a pair of shoes for each of the four children.
The little ones, who had just put on their shoes, were incredibly excited. They first ran around in the yard, and then they ran into the village, from the east side of the village to the west side, running around for a whole day.
When they came back in the evening, they suddenly took off all their shoes and shouted that they never wanted to wear them again.
Shen Miao was greatly puzzled.

Those kids who used to vehemently criticize the shoes are now silent.
They stared intently at the shoes on Da Bao and the others' feet, and suddenly felt a strong urge to try them on as well.
Shen Miao naturally knew that the cubs hadn't run far; she had deliberately used one of the cubs to lure them away.
Now that she had achieved her goal, she called them out.
The cubs knew that Shen Miao wouldn't hit anyone, so they all obediently came out, but they didn't dare to get close to Shen Miao and just stood at a distance.
Shen Miao held up a pair of shoes and explained, "These are the strange things you mentioned. They're not strange at all. Like your clothes, they're made of animal hides."
