On their way back, Chi Ye asked Chi Man, "Did you take action against them?"
Chi Man immediately understood what Chi Ye meant, and without hiding it, he replied, "Yes."
Chi Ye scratched his short hair and said softly, "Maybe we should just forget about it. Otherwise, if we push people too far, they might do something desperate. It won't be a big problem, but it'll still be annoying."
Chi Man looked at Chi Ye and said, "You weren't like this before. Given this opportunity, you should be grateful you're not kicking someone when they're down."
Chi Ye looked out the window and said, "Ali is pregnant with three children now. I don't want those people to go looking for her when they can't see you."
Chi Man looked away and said, "I understand."
Chi Ye leaned back in his seat and smiled at Chi Man, saying, "Thank you, big brother."
Chi Man curled her lips into a smile. Ah Ye had indeed changed; he had become so polite.
When Chi Ye returned, Ah Li had already cooked the meal.
Chi Ye hugged Ah Li and said, "My wife, you've worked hard. But didn't I tell you? I'll cook when I get back. You just rest at home."
Ah Li leaned against Chi Ye's chest and said, "I'm not far along in my pregnancy yet, so I just wanted to cook for you."
"What delicious dishes did my wife cook today?"
"These are all your favorite foods."
Chi Man was originally following behind Chi Ye, but when he saw Chi Ye hugging Ah Li, he went upstairs to change his clothes.
When he came downstairs, he found that the dining table not only had what Chi Ye liked to eat, but also what he liked to eat.
"Big brother, dinner's ready."
As Ah Li spoke to Chi Man, Chi Ye served Ah Li some food, saying, "He knows how to eat, so you should eat well too."
Ah Li also put some food on Chi Ye's plate, and then said, "I know."
Mother Chi also mentioned hiring a housekeeper to cook.
However, Chi Man has never liked strangers appearing in his territory. Now, noticing Ah Li's increasingly large belly, Chi Man thinks it's best to invite someone back.

Ah Li and Chi Ye were feeding each other when Chi Man finished eating.
He wiped his mouth and left the dining table to sit on the sofa and read the newspaper.
When Chi Ye finished eating and started clearing the table and washing the dishes, Ali followed along and washed the strawberries, blueberries, cherries, and other fruits.
Chi Ye also said, "I'll take care of it, you can rest."
"I'm not tired, I just want to be with you, even if it's just standing here like this."
Chi Ye sighed, looked at the foam in his hand, and said, "I got a business trip assignment these past two days. With you like this, how could I bear to leave?"
Chi Man put down his newspaper and asked, "Who sent you on this business trip?"
Chi Ye said, "It's that Manager Ye again. If I weren't too lazy to reveal my identity, I would have beaten him up in a heartbeat. He treats men like donkeys every day and still talks about making the best use of them."
Chi Man said, "Don't go. Ali's prenatal checkup is in the next couple of days. You need to go with her."
Ah Li looked at Chi Man. Had this person remembered her prenatal checkup date?
"But I said I'd start from the bottom, and this business trip..."
"Alright, I know you too well. Your phone has rung so many times today, all of them are reminders for Ah Li to go for her prenatal checkup."
