Chapter 291 Failed Missionaries 9

Chi Ye stared in disbelief at Ah Li's small belly, which contained three babies that would continue to grow.

Chi Ye cautiously reached out, as if to touch a fragile treasure. He slowly placed his hand on Ah Li's stomach. "There are three children here. And I was so clueless every time."

Ah Li placed her hand on Chi Ye's hand and said, "The doctor said it's nothing serious, just be more careful in the future."

Chi Ye gently leaned towards Ali, placing his head lightly on Ali's stomach. He said, "Then I really have to go work for my older brother. He pays better wages and has better benefits, and sometimes he even gives overtime pay. That way, when the three kids are born, we won't have so much pressure."

Ah Li stroked Chi Ye's soft hair, "Okay, then husband, you have to do your best."

Chi Ye sighed softly, "Baby, don't provoke me now. Hearing you call me 'husband' makes my body feel all tingly."

Ah Li poked Chi Ye's face, and Chi Ye took Ah Li's hand and held it in front of him.

When Chi Man came down, this is what I saw.

Chi Man curled her lips slightly. This is fine too.

He also told Chi's mother that Ah Li was pregnant with three children.

Mother Chi thought about coming over to take care of Ali, or taking Ali back home.

Chi Man said, "No rush, let Chi Ye start working at the company first."

Mrs. Chi could only agree, "Alright, it's time for him to get involved in company affairs."

Also, he had someone teach those two people from the Fang and Nan families a lesson and even recorded a video of it.

In the video, the two men were badly beaten, their faces bruised and swollen, saying, "No, we were never together. She wouldn't mess around before marriage. She's a conservative woman. We rarely held hands, hugged, or kissed."

In order to win over her first ex-ex-boyfriend, the original owner had taken the initiative to kiss and hug him, which is undeniable.

However, the final step was not taken.

Chi Man also sent the video back to her father, saying, "The child is indeed Chi Ye's."

Chi's father remained silent, not telling anyone to go back, but instead ordering someone to unfreeze Chi Ye's card.

At this moment, Chi Man walked away from Ah Li. Chi Ye looked up slightly, then lay back down on Ah Li's lap. He was like a cat, letting Ah Li continue to stroke his head, and then occasionally talking to Ah Li about the future.

When Chi Man came in, he was holding Ali's ID card and household registration book. He put the things on the table and said, "Let's find some time to get a certificate."

Chi Ye looked at the documents, then quickly stood up, grabbed them, and turned his back without giving them to Ali.

Ah Li looked at Chi Ye with a puzzled expression. "What are you doing?"

At this time, Chi Ye was still worried that Ah Li would regain her memory and then find that she still loved one of the two men from before and wanted to leave. How could he keep her?

Chi Man, Chi Ye's older brother, saw right through Chi Ye's thoughts and said, "Didn't you ever consider that she might have already regained her memories?"

"impossible!"

Chi Ye retorted without thinking, saying that he had lied to her before. If she had already regained her memory, why would she still be willing to stay by his side?

It is wrong to lie, and many people hate being deceived.

Hearing this, Ah Li laughed and hugged Chi Ye, leaning against his back, and said, "Silly, why don't you ask me if I've regained my memories?"

Chi Ye lowered his head, looked at Ah Li's arms wrapped around him, and said, "So, you really regained your memories?"

"Yes, when I saw my older brother that day and heard what he said, I remembered some things intermittently. After returning to this city, I remembered everything."

"Didn't you ever blame me?"

"A little."

Upon hearing Ahri say "a little," Chi Ye froze.

Ah Li hugged Chi Ye tightly and said with a smile, "But I found that I fell in love with you without realizing it. I love your craziness, your wildness, and everything about you."

Tears welled up in Chi Ye's eyes, but then he felt ashamed and raised his hand to cover his eyes. This was the first time he had ever heard someone say "I love you" to him so directly.

Ah Li continued, "However, you'll have to call me 'sister' from now on. I'm much older than you, the younger brother of the Chi family."

With red eyes, Chi Ye turned her head away awkwardly and said, "No, I don't want to call you sister."

"Um?"

Chi Ye said, "Baby, haven't you heard the saying, 'If a younger brother doesn't call his older sister, he's a bit wild'?"

Chi Man coughed lightly; these two were completely ignoring him.

Chi Ye looked at Chi Man with dissatisfaction and said, "Big brother, you're still here?"

Chi Man stood up and said, "This is my home."

Chi Ye then grabbed Ali's hand and said, "Baby, let's go back to the room and not let him watch the show."

Ah Li stood up with Chi Ye's help and said to Chi Man, "Big brother, let's go up first."

"Okay, slow down."

Chi Man watched as Chi Ye embraced Ah Li and whispered to Ah Li, "Don't be so polite to your older brother."

Ah Li poked Chi Ye's forehead and said, "That's your older brother."

Chi Man sighed. He should have gotten used to having a younger brother like this by now.

The next day, Chi Ye didn't go to work; instead, he went to get his marriage certificate with Ali.

After getting his marriage certificate with Ah Li, Chi Ye obediently went to work.

Chi Ye also noticed that members of the Fang and Nan families would occasionally loiter downstairs at the company, trying to see Chi Man, but they were stopped by security guards and looked rather down on their luck.
