Gu Jin accompanied them and even drove them.
Gu Jin said, "Let's go back to the Gu family home."
The old Gu family home has been demolished and rebuilt, and it will be completed soon.
Gu Jin took Ali and Yueyue for a walk around the neighborhood. Gu Jin said, "I still prefer our little home."
A house as a nest, two people relying on each other, three meals a day, and the changing seasons.
Some people can see the subtle coolness and warmth in your eyes, and understand your joy and sorrow.
Gu Jin thought that this was the best form of love: no grand vows or earth-shattering feats, but the little things hidden in ordinary days, the sense of security and contentment that comes from knowing that "you are here, I am at peace."
Ah Li understood what Gu Jin was thinking. She looked down at Yueyue, then smiled at Gu Jin.
Gu Jin picked Yueyue up, held Ali's hand, and said, "Let's go home."
Time flies, the sun sets and rises again.
Gu Jin still went to work, but she stopped delivering food and went to the company properly.
Every day, Gu Jin would first send Yueyue to school, and then he would go to the company.
Ah Li also had a ring on her right hand, which Gu Jin had put on her finger.
They got their marriage certificate again, and this time they both looked beautiful in the photos.
Today, Ali took the old duvet cover and pillowcases to be washed and replaced them with new ones.
The door was opened from the outside.
Ah Li went out and saw that Gu Jin had returned.
Gu Jin shook the roses she was holding and said, "These are for you."
"Aren't you going to work today?"
Ah Li originally wanted to take the pillow to the rooftop to air it out, but now that this person is back, she'll let him do it.
Gu Jin walked over, took the pillow from Ali's hand, and said, "I'll air it out later."
A rose was stuffed into Ali's arms. Gu Jin took the pillow back to the room. When he came out again, he suddenly picked up Ali and said, "Yueyue isn't here right now. Let's finish this quickly."
Ahri blushed, wiggled her feet, and said coquettishly, "Looking at you now, it seems like I haven't been feeding you enough."
"Does that count as being full?"
Gu Jin knelt on the bed. With Yueyue around, he didn't dare to make too much noise. Besides, if Yueyue turned over, Ah Li could push him away. After checking on Yueyue, he didn't come over again.
Ahri was still thinking, "I just changed my sheets."
"It's okay, I'll change it later."
"Then don't forget, you still have to pick Yueyue up after school."
"Yes, I remember."
Gu Jin hugged Ali tightly and kissed her. He needed to focus on this matter.
Ahri added, "And there's lunch too..."
"I asked the housekeeper to make it. He will deliver it when it's done."
In the morning, Gu Jin took Yueyue to school and had already told her that the housekeeper would pick her up at noon, and he wouldn't come to pick her up.
Yueyue also asked him, "What about your aunt?"
"She's probably very busy. You should study hard too."
Gu Jin patted Yueyue's head, looking relieved. He could finally spend some time alone with Ali.
It was 11:30 a.m.
Yueyue is back, and the housekeeper is with her.
The two rang the doorbell for a while before Gu Jin finally opened the door.
Yueyue could tell at a glance that Gu Jin had just taken a shower and was still wearing his pajamas. He was carrying a large basket containing bed sheets and duvet covers.
Gu Jin added, "You guys eat first, I'll go air out the blankets. My aunt is tired, she's sleeping in the room, don't disturb her."
Yueyue indicated that she understood, and she went in with the housekeeper. Neither of them made too much noise.
Yueyue looked back at her room. Her room door was open, but her aunt wasn't inside; she must be in her uncle's room.
When Gu Jin returned after airing out the sheets and duvet covers, he found the housekeeper tutoring Yueyue with her homework. He was very satisfied. He went into the room and found that Ali was still sleeping. He didn't call her and went out again.
At 1:30, Yueyue was going to school, and she wanted to say goodbye to Ali.
At this moment, Gu Jin spoke up, saying, "You go to school first, I'll talk to your aunt later."
Yueyue left with the housekeeper, looking dejected.
In the room, Ahri woke up. She slowly sat up, squinted at the clock on the bedside table, and saw that it was almost two o'clock.
Has she been asleep for that long?
"Gu Jin?"
Ah Li called out, and Gu Jin replied, "I'm here."
Gu Jin came in and said, "I just heated up some food. Get up and eat some."
"Has Yueyue gone to school?"
"Yes, it's been sent."
"You sent it?"
Ah Li looked at Gu Jin with suspicion. This person knew the time was up but still acted recklessly.
"No, it was a gift from the housekeeper."
Gu Jin helped Ali out of the room and said, "Drink some soup first, your voice is still a little hoarse."
"It's all your fault."
Ah Li glared at Gu Jin.
Gu Jin smiled but didn't say anything. He wanted to help Ah Li rub her waist, but Ah Li refused.
Gu Jin sat next to her, watching Ah Li eat and drink soup, and occasionally helping to pick up food for her.
After Ah Li finished eating, he cleaned up the dishes and was about to help Ah Li up.
"No, I want to sit here for a while now."
Ahri was completely rejecting the idea; she didn't want to go back inside. She just wanted to sit here quietly.
"Then I'll go with you."
Gu Jin sat down with Ali and even got up to wash some grapes.
After washing it, I placed it in front of Ahri.
Ah Li glanced at the grapes; Gu Jin had already peeled them for her and was about to feed them to Ah Li himself.
Ahri stepped back and said, "I can eat by myself."
Gu Jin didn't move; he was still holding the grapes, and grape juice was dripping from his fingertips.
