Wang Zhilu draped a coat over Wang Zhixian and tried to help him over.
But Wang Zhixian was fine; he didn't need any help at all. After getting off the bed, he walked to Ali's side in a few steps and put his hand on Ali's shoulder. He looked at Mr. Xiao with some unease.
Mr. Xiao raised an eyebrow; he didn't seem weak at all during those few steps.

When Ali came in, Wang Zhixian waved to her. When she got closer, he pulled her onto his lap and sat her down. He whispered in her ear, "Were you still able to move on your own back then?"
Ahri didn't answer him. Instead, she leaned on his shoulder and asked, "Wouldn't that be bad for your health?"
"No, Mr. Xiao said no, and even told me the more the better."
"really?"
"Um."
Wang Zhixian noticed Ah Li's relieved expression. He hugged her tightly. He was very happy. His illness would not affect her. On the contrary, the two of them would get better and better together.
Wang Zhixian even had people move all of Ali's belongings into his house.
At night, the hot water bottle wasn't used much anymore, but the small kitchen was used to boil water more often.
Everything else remained the same for the people in Wang Zhixian's courtyard. The only change was that Wang Zhilu had taken the laurel wreath.

The next day, the laurel was gone.
Rumors circulated in the manor that the second young master had killed someone, while others said that Yuegui had run away because she didn't want to be with the second young master.
When Wang Zhilu came to Wang Zhixian's courtyard again, Wang Zhixian specifically asked him, "Did you really deal with that person?"
