She went to the sofa closest to her home, where there were only two or three people scattered around.
Xiang Wanwan was somewhat surprised.
Do people here not like to eat seafood?
Why are there so few people?
Xiang Wanwan took off her shoes and put them in a bucket, then started beachcombing.
There were very few things visible on the beach, only some seashells, and they weren't very big!
She searched further ahead, but still found nothing.
No wonder there are so few people coming to beachcomb, because there's really nothing there!
If only she could see through things, she could see where the good stuff is under the sand.
As she was thinking, a sudden inspiration struck her.
Yes, although she doesn't have X-ray vision, she has a magical sprite!
Xiang Wanwan looked around; there was no one there anymore.
She summoned the green elf.
The little creatures flew around her as soon as they came out, flapping their wings excitedly. It seems they also like to come out for some fresh air.
"Sweetie, can you help me find some good stuff on the beach?"
Upon hearing this, the green elf flew off in a flash, and Xiang Wanwan quickly followed.
After walking a dozen or so steps, it stopped on the beach.
"Here?"
The green elf nodded.
Seeing this, Xiang Wanwan put down the bucket and began digging.
She hadn't dug for long when a patch of clams appeared before her eyes, and there were quite a few of them, and they were also quite big.
At this moment, Xiang Wanwan could already picture stir-fried clams in her mind.
She swallowed hard and immediately began to work.
After picking up all the clams, she continued to gaze at the green elf.
The little creature flew forward again, but stopped after flying a short distance.
Xiang Wanwan followed, and a large area of small holes appeared before her eyes. She had seen them before; they were the breathing holes of razor clams.
The appearance of this means there will definitely be razor clams below.
"My little darling, you're amazing!" Xiang Wanwan was beaming from ear to ear.
Razor clams are sensitive to high concentrations of smoke, so Xiang Wanwan had prepared for this before setting off.
She shoveled away the top layer of sand, then picked up the salt bottle and began spraying it into the small hole.
After the salt was sprayed on, she saw water start to come out of the small hole, and then the razor clams poked out of it.
Xiang Wanwan grabbed it and pulled hard, and a large razor clam lay in her hand.
"Haha, it's quite fat!"
With a beaming smile, Xiang Wanwan continued sprinkling salt into the other small holes, and soon razor clams eagerly emerged from them like bamboo shoots after a spring rain.
She quickly pulled them out one by one.
In just a few minutes, her bucket was filled with dozens of razor clams.
She looked at her spoils in the bucket: a pound of clams and dozens of razor clams, enough for one meal.
Splash... splash... the tide recedes.
Xiang Wanwan stood up, watching the waves crash and breathing in the fresh, damp sea breeze, feeling refreshed and invigorated. (This chapter has been finished. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
