I bought down jackets, overcoats, and cotton-padded coats, and also bought one for Sister Wang and Aunt Wu!

She was happily shopping when Lu Jingnian returned.
When Lu Jingnian returned, he saw her staring blankly at the cakes in the shop window.
"Want some?"
"Okay!" Xiang Wanwan nodded.
Ever since she became pregnant, she has been craving cake, but there isn't any on the island, and cake is known to cause weight gain, so she hasn't dared to eat it.

Lu Jingnian took Xiang Wanwan to a state-run restaurant and ordered her chicken soup and braised pork.
"Eat your cake first, the food will be here soon."
Xiang Wanwan couldn't resist any longer and picked up a small spoon to eat.
The aroma of cream filled my mouth; it was sweet and soft.

After we finished the cake, the food was served.
Lu Jingnian first served her a bowl of chicken soup, which Xiang Wanwan took and drank a sip of.
"It's not as good as what Aunt Wu makes."
The chicks at home have grown to two or three pounds each, and the hens have started laying eggs. The eggs she eats every day are all laid by their own chickens.
There were originally ten chickens, but last time she craved chicken, Aunt Wu stewed one for her.
The chicken soup was delicious but not greasy at all; it was really tasty!
She kept thinking about when she could stew another one.
"Lu Jingnian, let's buy some more chicks to take home."
Lu Jingnian found it amusing, but still looked at her with affection and nodded, "Okay, I'll do whatever you say."
The food served in state-run stores catered to the general public and was generally mediocre.
Xiang Wanwan had only eaten half of the cake when she felt full.
