Chapter 43 The Door Was Locked
When he arrived at the door of the Lu family, Wen Sining smelled the aroma of stewed meat.
She looked at the silent man beside her in surprise, "You haven't eaten yet?"
She remembered that at this time in the past, Lu Jinkun would go into the mountains to hunt.
After a long silence, he said in a deep voice, "My grandma is sick again. If you accompany me to perform a play, I will give you meat as usual."

He asked bluntly, "Then tell me, what do you want in exchange for helping me?"
"I haven't thought of it yet, otherwise you can owe me a favor first, and I'll ask you for it when I think of it."
"Can."
Since it was a deal, Lu Jinkun finally felt relieved and began to instruct Wen Sining.

She glared at Lu Jinkun and said, "Xuchuan, what's wrong with you? It's so windy outside, why don't you bring Xiaoying inside to sit down?"
Lu Jinkun strode forward, took the braised pork from Old Lady Lu's hand, and said to Wen Sining, "Come in."
Wen Si Ning walked to the side of Old Lady Lu, put her arm around her, and said to her with a smile, "Mom, I'll help you walk together."
Old Mrs. Lu couldn't close her mouth with a smile, "Okay, okay, my wife is so thoughtful."
As soon as she entered the house, Mrs. Lu was busy scooping rice. "Xiaoying, today I made your favorite braised pork. You must eat more."
Wen Sining responded, and Mrs. Lu turned around to scoop up some rice.
Lu Jinkun whispered to her, "My grandma hasn't eaten meat for several days. She's been drinking porridge for every meal these days. See if there's any way you can get her to eat some meat."

While Mrs. Lu was turning around, Wen Sining stuffed all the rice in the bowl into Lu Jinkun's bowl.
All that was left in her bowl was the fragrant and tempting braised pork.

When Old Lady Lu turned around, Wen Sining also put down his bowl and chopsticks.

Wen Si Ning held Mrs. Lu's hand and took her to the room. "Mom, let the men do the work. Let's go inside and chat."
Seeing Wen Sining bringing Old Lady Lu into the house, Lu Jinkun finally felt relieved.
It shouldn't be long before grandma is back to normal.
Lu Jinkun quickly ate the rice in the bowl and finished it in two or three bites. He stood up, cleared the dishes and went to the kitchen to wash them.
After he finished washing the dishes, Old Mrs. Lu opened the door and urged them to come in.
"Xuchuan, it's late. Take Xiaoying back to her room and get some rest."
Lu Jinkun frowned and looked at Wen Sining with confusion.
Wen Sining shook his head helplessly.
Seeing that neither of them responded, Mrs. Lu simply pushed them into the room and then neatly locked them inside.
Wen Sining was confused. After hearing the sound of someone fiddling with the door lock outside, she pulled the door and found that she was locked in the room!

Old Mrs. Lu always said that she was Xiaoying, and insisted on locking her up with Lu Jinkun!

Lu Jinkun lowered his gaze and assured her, "Wait a little longer, until grandma falls asleep, I'll take you back."
"But the door is locked."
Lu Jinkun walked to the window and opened it directly.
