Chapter 13 The three little ones turned into children
The two guys rushed towards Xia Yueke like two cannonballs. Their momentum seemed to knock Xia Yueke away, and fire was almost spitting out of their eyes.
But Xia Yueke was not panicked at all. When the two of them came closer, she suddenly stretched out her claws and scratched the armpits of Thin Eyebrows and Thick Tail.
This tickling was terrible. It was as if his thin eyebrows were stimulated by laughter. A "giggle" sound gushed out like a spring. He twisted his body to avoid it but was completely unable to resist.
The thick tail was not much stronger. It was originally very aggressive, but now it was scratched and rolled on the ground, slapping the ground with its thick tail.
Soon, they were limp with laughter, like rag dolls drained of all their strength. Tears streamed uncontrollably from their eyes, leaving wet streaks on their faces. The laughter gradually faded, leaving only faint sobs. They were completely helpless and had to give in to Xia Yueke.
While gasping for breath, Thin Eyebrows struggled to lift his two front paws, which were furry and shook in front of his body in panic.
The thick tail also shook its claws weakly, trying to attract Xia Yueke's attention.
Xia Yueke was about to release her grip when she found that the two guys suddenly stopped responding, like two soft balls of fur, lying quietly on the ground.
The surroundings were eerily quiet, with only the occasional whimpering sound of the wind from outside the cave, as if telling of some ominous omen. Xia Yueke's heart suddenly sank, and a chill ran from the soles of her feet to her forehead.
She stared at the thin eyebrows and thick tail on the ground with her eyes wide open, her mind in a mess:
"Oh my god, they can't be... can't they be killed by my tickling? Why am I so careless!"
Xia Yueke's beautiful fox eyes were filled with fear and anxiety, and she looked around frantically.
The shadows in the cave seemed to be pressing in on her; the familiar stones and hay now looked eerie.
"No, we have to find someone quickly!"
She was extremely confused and turned around to run out of the cave to call Wu Ya or Chu Qingchen and the others.
In her opinion, it would be nice if even one person came now, just to see what was going on with these cubs.
But the moment she turned around, she caught a glimpse of Big Ears out of the corner of her eye.
Big Ears, like the other two cubs, lay lifeless on Wuya's bed, motionless.
Xia Yueke was stunned for a moment, feeling a mixture of emotions.
However, she soon breathed a sigh of relief and secretly rejoiced:
"It's okay, it's okay, these three little cubs are in the same situation, it seems that it's not a problem of me scratching my head. If only those two guys got into trouble, I would be finished."
She seemed to have seen the scene of herself being angrily kicked out of the house by her father. The picture made her shudder. Fortunately, it should not happen now.
Xia Yueke breathed a sigh of relief, but she did not stop. She rushed straight out of the cave like a red lightning.
At this time, the sun was high in the sky and it was noon.
Outside the cave is a vast mountain forest, and the sunlight shines through the gaps between the branches and leaves, creating a mottled and colorful scene.
A gentle breeze blew, and the leaves rustled.
There are other caves not far away. At the entrance of the cave, there are either a few little foxes playing and fighting, or adult foxes drying their prey and sorting their fur.
The foxes cast curious glances at her, but Xia Yue didn't care about that. She was filled with anxiety, with only the road ahead in her eyes, and she only wanted to find Wu Ya and Chu Qingchen as soon as possible.
Her big furry tail was raised high behind her.
Chu Qingchen was standing in front of a simple barbecue grill, grilling delicious prey for Wu Ya.
The barbecue sizzled over the fire, its aroma filling the air and filling the forest. Wu Ya lazily sat on a nearby stone platform, enjoying the sunshine.
She was half lying down, and the stone platform looked like a natural chaise longue.
Wu Ya has a stunning face, and her fair skin is like the first snow in winter, with a faint luster.
Her eyes are clear and charming, and her eyelashes are long and curled, like two small fans.
Her soft hair was like black satin, with a few strands of hair sticking to her cheeks, adding a touch of charm.
She was wearing a dress made of soft animal skin, which outlined her graceful figure.
Qiuxing's whereabouts were unknown, perhaps he went deeper into the forest to collect firewood, or perhaps he was hunting prey.
"Aoao~" Xia Yueke cried anxiously, and the cry echoed in the mountains and forests.
As expected, Chu Qingchen and Wu Ya immediately raised their heads when they heard the cry.
Seeing that it was Xia Yueke who ran out, Chu Qingchen raised the corners of his mouth and revealed a bright smile:
"Ah, the kid has grown up and can run..."
Wu Ya also stood up. She walked lightly to Xia Yueke, squatted down, and gently held the little fox in her arms.
Xia Yueke was so anxious that she almost spoke incoherently.
She looked at the two of them, howled a few more times, then eagerly raised her fox paw and pointed it into the cave. Her voice became more and more anxious, and her eyes were full of panic.
Wu Ya and Chu Qingchen exchanged a glance. Wu Ya frowned slightly, a look of surprise in her eyes, and said softly:
"Kid, what's going on? Did something happen in there? Kids are usually very quiet, this has never happened before."
Chu Qingchen also looked confused and shook his head:
"I don't know, let's go check it out!"
After saying that, he flashed and rushed into the cave first.
Wu Ya hugged the little cub tightly in her arms and hurried to the cave.
Chu Qingchen was extremely anxious and rushed into the cave like a gust of wind.
As soon as you step into the cave, you will be greeted by a strange scene.
Lying on the ground were two cubs who looked like three-year-old children. They were sleeping quietly like two little angels who had come to the world.
One of the cubs had fair skin with a healthy blush.
His little face is round and cute, and his eyebrows are thin, as if they were drawn with the most delicate brush. Even with his eyes closed, he can see the playful touch of his eyebrows raised slightly. Isn't this what thin eyebrows are?
The other cub was stronger, with shiny black hair that was slightly curly. His thick tail was now loosely placed under his head. The fur on his tail was soft and thick, rising and falling slightly with his breathing, which undoubtedly meant it was a thick tail.
Looking at Wuya's bed, there was another little cub lying there quietly.
His fox ears were big and were shaking slightly.
Chu Qingchen turned around and saw Wu Ya rushing over in a hurry. A relaxed smile immediately appeared on his face and he said quickly:
"Wuya, don't worry, it's the male cubs transforming! You see, it's normal for them to be like this now. They'll be back to full strength after a day's sleep! I didn't expect the cubs to wake up so quickly this time. In the past, it took several months!"
