Chapter 10 Nightmare Ghost Appears

Chapter 10 Nightmare Ghost Appears

In the end, Tsuna and his friends didn't get to drink the soda that Coach Kujo had treated them to. He was invited to a private meeting by others and sent his own disciple to see them off.

On the way back, Hinata and Sawada Tsunayoshi slept soundly, each leaning on one of Irie Shoichi's shoulders, basically falling asleep without saying a word.

Suzuki had been thinking of asking them what they had accomplished that day, but seeing this scene, he could only smile helplessly.

As expected, the competition was much more tiring than the daily training, even though it was just a small, playful competition.

During a match, it's not just about basic skills; teamwork and awareness of rapidly changing situations on the field are also crucial. These two kids, though not very tall, showed no stage fright whatsoever. I wonder how they'll perform in a real match.

Yes, Coach Suzuki did not see what the match looked like at the beginning.

I wonder if I'll still think that way if I see it.

The next day was Sunday, and Suzuki gave the two of them a day off, saying they didn't need to go to the club. He said training should have a balance of relaxation and rest. When they got out of the car, he also told the two kids that they could talk about the summer camp in front of their parents, and that he would contact them directly to explain the situation later.

The two sleepy children rubbed their sleepy eyes, yawned and nodded repeatedly, seemingly not understanding what was happening. Finally, they tugged at Irie Masakazu, who said he would pass on the message.

What else could Suzuki say? He waved for them to go home quickly, and only drove away after seeing that the three of them had entered the Hyuga house.

A moment later, the Hyuga family's front door was suddenly flung open, and a brown-haired cannonball shot out. Sawada Tsunayoshi hurriedly went home and took a shower, washing away the sweat and fatigue from his body.

Wearing clean clothes, he ran out of the house again, shouting before he left.

"Mom, I'm going to sleep at Xiaoxiang's house tonight!"

A response came from upstairs, "Okay."

That's the advantage of living close by; you can visit anytime you want. They even stayed at the Irie Masakazu's house for one night before, and today, on a whim, they decided to sleep at the Hyuga's house again.

They're all elementary school students anyway, they can always squeeze in and find a place to sleep.

Several children held a serious children's version of a debriefing meeting in the room, and then Irie Shoichi pointed out harshly that Hyuga had not participated in blocking at all today, and that Sawada Tsunayoshi, as the main attacker, actually scored less than one-fifth of the points.

Tsuna and Hinata watched in horror as Irie took out a notebook and read the data line by line.

Xiao Zheng, when did you do so many things? Weren't you just flipping the score cards?

Seeing their shock, Irie Shoichi explained, "I specifically took notes on your serve reception and scoring when I watched the match."

"These are very helpful for debugging, oh no, for improvement, well, that doesn't seem right either, it should be for enhancing your abilities."

Xiao Zheng smiled gently.

This description made him feel like he was being treated like a robot, Sawada Tsunayoshi thought sadly. Although his dream was indeed to become a tall and mighty robot, he decided to forget about this situation.

When Hinata heard Xiaozheng recounting the events in a way that sounded like gibberish, he was already lost in thought, his face blank, his beady eyes staring blankly into space.

Irie felt a deep sense of powerlessness surge into his brain once again. He waved his hand in front of Hyuga, but the other party did not react at all. After a long while, he slowly turned his head to look at them.

"Hiss, did I overdo it with exercise today and burn out the CPU?!"

After a long pause, Hinata finally replied, "Huh?"

"I knew it! Look how slow his reactions have become! Don't crash, Xiao Xiang!"

Sawada Tsunayoshi, who was kneeling on the ground, was shocked to see Irie take out his toolbox. He leaped over and hugged Irie Shoichi tightly around the waist.

"No, Xiao Zheng! Xiao Xiang is a human, not a robot!"

Irie Shoichi, holding the wrench, remained unmoved. "I firmly believe that the human brain is also a sophisticated machine."

The incandescent light shone on the wrench, its sharp glare blinding Hyuga. He immediately snapped back to reality, leaping backward with a powerful kick, instantly widening the distance between himself and Irie Shoichi.

"Xiao Zheng, that's murder!"

After a while of commotion, Sawada Tsunayoshi tentatively snatched the wrench from Irie Shoichi's hand, packed it up along with the toolbox, and threw it outside the door.

The first debriefing meeting ended abruptly here.

That night, Irie Masashi lay on one side of the bed, giving the two people on the other side, who were discussing games, a creepy feeling. Sawada Tsunayoshi swallowed hard. Masashi looked very honest, but every time he had that thoughtful expression, he didn't seem to be thinking anything good, at least not good things for them.

The discussion gradually subsided, and Tsunayoshi spoke up, asking, "Sho?"

“Hmm,” Irie Shoichi responded, speaking slowly, as if he was organizing his thoughts so the other two could understand.

"I was wondering, if you go to summer camp this summer, will you be able to pass your final exams this semester?"

This is definitely not a good thing.

The two academically challenged students hugged each other and cried. After a while, they realized that the guy opposite them wouldn't be able to pass the exam either, so they clung to Irie again.

"Alright, alright, the exam isn't difficult. Coach Suzuki just said we don't need to go to the club tomorrow, so I'll take the day off and study with you guys."

Hinata didn't dare say that he originally planned to sneak off to play volleyball tomorrow, but in order to continue to play Akaashi-senpai's ball-tossing game during the summer vacation, a little patience was nothing!

Meanwhile, Irie Shoichi was still saying, "I was just thinking about this. Let's start with math tomorrow, since neither of you are good at math."

Hinata covered her face with the blanket, her voice muffled, "Okay—"

"What about Xiaogang?"

"Xiao Gang?"

He called out twice but no one responded. Hinata pushed aside the blanket that Hinata had covered. The two of them had squeezed next to Irie earlier, and Tsunayoshi, who was already sandwiched in the middle, was now pressed even more tightly against Sho.

The guy who didn't reply quietly closed his eyes during the few words exchanged between Irie and Hinata, still holding onto Irie Shoichi's arm, sleeping peacefully.

"Tsuna must be very tired." Hiyaka subconsciously softened her voice.

Irie tucked the blanket back into Tsuna's bed and said softly, "He's been making a fuss since he got back, he must be tired by now, let's go to sleep too."

"Okay." Hinata turned off the light.

The room fell into darkness, and after Irie and Hinata also fell asleep, a strange light suddenly shone in the bedroom. If either of them had been awake, they would have noticed that faint light source shining between them.

A tiny, burning flame flickered on the forehead of the sleeping Sawada Tsunayoshi. He frowned, looking somewhat pained, as if he were having a dream.

It felt like being tied to a cold table.

This was Sawada Tsunayoshi's immediate impression. Before his eyes was a blinding white light. Tsunayoshi thought of the wrench in Masashi's toolbox, and after a while, he realized that there was a large light directly above his head.

The pungent smell of disinfectant hit him right in the head, and Tsuna woke up from his dazed state. He found that he could move now. He turned his neck and felt more like he was being held down on an operating table, with some knives around him.

But there was no one here; the silence was unsettling.

He sat up and stood up to observe the place that resembled a laboratory. The bright white light made the room clearly visible. Without turning around, he walked straight towards the door, wanting to see if he could open it.

Unfortunately, the door was locked.

Sawada Tsunayoshi glanced at the door, which looked very sturdy. Confirming that he couldn't open it, he turned around, as if he had done this action countless times before. He should find it strange, since he had never been here before.

Tsuna didn't realize he was dreaming; he was just acting on his subconscious. His body felt inexplicably heavy, so he decided to go back to the operating table and rest for a bit.

However, a child was lying on the shelf that should have been empty.

The other person was expressionless, with bloodshot eyes that seemed to be staring at him for an unknown amount of time.

As if entangled by some venomous snake of sorrow, even though it was the guy lying on the shelf who was bound by chains, Sawada Tsunayoshi felt like he couldn't breathe. The chains tightened, and his vision slowly dimmed.

Perhaps he fainted due to lack of oxygen; the flame on his forehead trembled violently and disappeared completely the next second. Sawada Tsunayoshi also struggled to wake up from his dream.

"Nightmare?" Sawada Tsunayoshi gasped for breath. He was surrounded by Irie Shoichi and Hyuga, so he was not alone, which obviously made him feel much more at ease.

Even so, resentment and grief lingered in his heart, refusing to dissipate. Sawada Tsunayoshi would never have such emotions. That bloody eye reappeared. Was it his?

Sawada Tsunayoshi seemed to have grasped something, but his brain was too tired, and he fell asleep again. This time he didn't dream and slept until dawn.

Tsuna mentioned this to Masakazu and the others. Masakazu worriedly touched Tsuna's forehead; his temperature was normal. Irie Masakazu breathed a sigh of relief.

"Last night when I was sleeping, I vaguely felt that the area around me was very hot, but it got better after a while. You scared me. I thought you had a fever."

Hinata thought for a moment and then asked her mother for some medicine to prevent illness, which she then gave to Tsuna. Tsuna pouted; he didn't like taking medicine at all.

Although he stretched yesterday, his body was still sore and aching when he woke up today. Sawada Tsunayoshi rubbed his right eye and quickly put everything aside after learning that he had to review math today.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the world in Italy, Chikusa Kakimoto whispered from outside her cell,

"Lord Mukuro, are you awake?"

Rokudo Mukuro was completely immobilized. The group of guys hadn't let go of him since they tampered with his eyes, except for the occasional release of their physical needs.

But today, not to mention waking up, he didn't sleep at all all night. In the middle of the night, something that looked like a soul suddenly crawled out of his body. Rokudo Mukuro thought he had finally been driven crazy and had a split personality.

Actually, he has given up on this idea now, but he can't understand why the personality he split off from seems so innocent.

In that brief glance, Rokudo Mukuro knew that this soul definitely did not belong here. However, the other party disappeared too quickly, and he didn't even have time to say anything before he was gone.

A note from the author:

----------------------

This person originally said that the Vongola family wouldn't be mentioned at the beginning, but Rokudo Mukuro himself took the pen!

I don't know why I wrote 69 (sad).

I was originally planning to write about Hibari-senpai first, but what's wrong with Rokudo Mukuro?!

27 was so excited today that she couldn't control her deathly flames, so she met 69 in her dream.
