“You can stay in the cleaned-up room next door,” Quan said.
"Thank you, sir!"
The wooden fish-shaped Daruma carried his master and quickly ran to another room, escaping the demon Yaksha. The Snow Woman asked, "Where will we stay tonight?"
"This room, please."
Quan looked around; it was a clean and tidy room, suitable for living.
"You stay here, I'll go up to the roof. Yaksha, you come with me." Ōtengu was also a little sleepy.
"Why do you take me everywhere you go?!" Yaksha complained.
Without saying a word, the Great Tengu took him to the heavens.
In the room, Izumi and Yuki-onna took out a roll of bedding, spread it on the tatami mat, changed their clothes, turned off the lights, and went to sleep.
Fifteen minutes later—
"Is Quan asleep?"
"No."
Quan yawned.
One hour later—
"Is Quan asleep?"
"……No."
Two hours later—
"Izumi isn't asleep yet?"

On the roof
"Those two women are still awake."
Yaksha had two deep dark circles under his eyes, and he yawned.

The Great Tengu sat up.

Yaksha was so sleepy he couldn't stay awake any longer.
