Chapter 37 Encountering a Female Thief on the Way

"I suddenly don't want to eat hairy crab noodles anymore," Li Lechen said casually.

"Hey! I'm treating, don't push your luck!" Zhou Mi couldn't help but warn.

"There's a ramen shop across the street, and they don't charge extra for adding cilantro."

Upon hearing this, Zhou Mi realized that she had misunderstood Li Lechen, but out of consideration for her pride, she continued coldly, "I don't eat cilantro."

"No extra charge for adding beef."

"Is that so?"

"You'll know once you try it."

"Well... okay then~~~~"

Hesitant to speak, reluctant to refuse, playing hard to get, unable to give up—that's how women are.

In an alley not far from the intersection where Li Lechen was robbed, the middle-aged woman, A Cai, met up with the man who was supposed to meet her.

"Did you miss?" the man asked.

“I had already succeeded, but the child suddenly started crying, and I was afraid of arousing suspicion, so I let go,” A-Cai replied.

Just then, Ah Cai suddenly remembered something and quickly pulled out a handful of money from her pocket, boasting, "I just swindled some money from a student, maybe a hundred or so."

The man scoffed, letting Ah Cai unfold the banknotes and count them one by one.

At A-Cai's feet was a wad of tissues, which fell to the ground as A-Cai took out the handful of banknotes.
