"Then you go check!"
Li Yu then pointed to the lighter placed in front of the woman.
"I've noted it down! I'll replace it for you if there's a problem!"
The woman's expression turned ugly at this moment, and she thought to herself, "Why did such a fool show up today? Isn't he just here to cause trouble?"
"Okay, okay, okay."
Li Yu laughed. The item was right in front of her, yet she wouldn't check it. This woman was simply pretending to be stupid.
Remembering what the law enforcement officer had said about suing him, Li Yu changed her approach:
"Don't replace that thing yet. I'm going to file a complaint against the officer in charge of that number. He sold me a defective product."
The woman no longer feigned politeness, but looked at Li Yu with icy eyes and calmly replied:
"Our shelter will strengthen training, strictly manage executives, and severely punish executives for their mistakes, so please rest assured."
Listening to these meaningless words, Li Yu simply stared at the woman and asked again:
"Do you remember the executive officer's number I just mentioned?"
“I’ve already noted it down,” the woman replied, frowning.
"Could you repeat that?" Li Yu pressed.
"I've already written it down!" the woman said angrily.
She seemed to feel that her rights had been challenged and was very dissatisfied; she had no time to memorize such random numbers.
With the shelter backing her up, she's really not afraid of coming up and causing trouble.
The woman looked at the patrol team standing next to her and gestured with her chin towards Li Yu.
The patrol team nodded to the woman and immediately led their men over to surround Li Yu.
"Refugees, please abide by the shelter's rules, or you will be severely punished!"
The patrol team leader gave Li Yu a stern warning.
“Very good, your shelter is really nice.” Li Yu nodded repeatedly, her words full of sarcasm.
He had completely seen through the people in the shelter, and at this moment he didn't want to argue anymore. He picked up the broken lighter and turned to leave.
At that moment, the executive officer blocked Li Yu from behind.
"What? You think you can just leave after slandering me?" the executive officer said with a sneer.
"So what do you want?" Li Yu asked, narrowing her eyes.
Although he wanted to create distance, if a conflict were to break out, it wouldn't be impossible for him to shoot several people at close range.
When Fu Xiyao saw Li Yu surrounded by a large group of people, she hurriedly carried the coal over.
The executive officer looked at Li Yu and Fu Xiyao and shouted loudly to the surrounding crowd:
"Article 8 of the shelter regulations stipulates that the public must obey the orders of the executive officer."
At this point, the executive officer smiled smugly and explained to the crowd around him.
"Given that this person is a first-time offender and this is their first violation of the rules, I have decided to be lenient and treat you leniently."
The executive officer's eyes lit up when he saw the coal on the black horse's back. He gave the patrol team an order:
"Now, I will confiscate your coal as punishment!"
The patrol team obeyed the order and stepped forward to take the coal that Fu Xiyao was carrying, but Fu Xiyao did not want to give it up.
"Give them to them," Li Yu said in a low voice.
Hearing Li Yu's words, Fu Xiyao reluctantly put down the bag of coal.
Fu Xiyao felt a little wronged because they confiscated the money she had bought with coins.
The patrol carried the coal back and put it back on the cart.
The executive officer finally smiled with satisfaction and asked Li Yu:
"Have you accepted it yet?"
