Fu Junheng's words carried a reminder and a warning.
Mu Chenshuang understood what he meant. She had no intention of getting involved in any struggle, but there were some things that wouldn't stop the enemy from coming after her just because she didn't do them.

“You need to be more careful with the new people you’ve recently hired in your manor. Who knows if there are any spies among them?” Fu Junheng said.
Mu Chenshuang raised her voice and said, "With Crown Prince Junheng's discerning eye, why don't we see who the spy really is?"
Fu Junheng smiled faintly, "Shuang'er, if you need anything, I will do my duty without hesitation."
"Since that's the case, then you'll keep watch tonight and see who in the Marquis's residence is a suspect?"

After dinner.
Fu Junheng really had no intention of leaving.
Mu Chenshuang wanted to get angry but couldn't, since he had taken the offensive things she said at dinner as nice things.
"Are you coming or not?" Mu Chenshuang finally couldn't hold back and asked impatiently.
Fu Junheng looked at her and said seriously, "I have to stay to protect your safety."
"I'm safe in my own home, I don't need your protection." Before, he would climb over the wall in the middle of the night, but now he just swaggers in and doesn't leave.
"Also, are you really not afraid that the people from the Imperial Observatory will find out?"

Fu Junheng didn't disturb her. "You go wash up first, I'm going out for a walk."
After Fu Junheng left, Linglong entered the room. Seeing her mistress's complicated expression, she stepped forward and cautiously asked, "Miss, is Crown Prince Junheng really not leaving?"
Mu Chenshuang took a deep breath, closed her eyes, and a sense of helplessness welled up in them.
"Change your clothes first."
Seeing that her mistress did not answer, Linglong did not press the matter further.

On her way back to the kitchen, Linglong encountered Fu Junheng walking towards her.

“Miss has already retired for the night,” Linglong replied with a nod, not daring to look him in the eye.
Fu Junheng suddenly asked, "Among the people recruited into the manor, have you noticed anything unusual about any of them?"
The words were spoken.
Linglong was taken aback, looked up at Fu Junheng, wondering why he had suddenly asked such a question, and replied, "I haven't noticed anything unusual?"
Fu Junheng pressed further, "Of the newly recruited personnel, which one has left the residence recently?"
Although Linglong didn't know why Fu Junheng suddenly asked this question, she answered truthfully, "The kitchen has hired a new maid who went out of the manor to buy salt the day before yesterday."
