A mountain breeze swept by, causing strands of the man's silver hair to flutter amidst the apricot blossoms, making his exceptionally handsome face appear even more profound and alluring. His eyes, both wicked and tender, gazed upon the woman before him.
Mu Chenshuang's pupils widened, her bright, star-like eyes staring blankly at him. Her heart seemed to have been stimulated, pounding uncontrollably.
She should have pushed him away without hesitation and even questioned him, since he had clearly taken advantage of her.
But at this moment.
She seemed to be bound by some force, her gaze was drawn to something invisibly, and she was so stiff that she didn't know what to do.
A moment of quiet.
All that could be heard was the sound of the wind passing through the apricot grove.
Their eyes met, a gaze that seemed to hold the depth of a thousand years.
"Do you know why I brought you here?" Fu Junheng suddenly spoke, breaking the silence.
Mu Chenshuang blinked and suddenly came back to her senses. She quickly lowered her eyes to hide the infatuation in them, tried her best to calm herself down, reached out and supported herself on the man's arm, pushed him away with force, took two steps forward with a sullen face, and said sarcastically, "Who knows what medicine you took."
Fu Junheng turned around and followed, standing beside Mu Chenshuang. Looking into the distance, he said, "Of course I will show you different scenery, so that when you recall this place, the first thing you will think of is that I brought you here."
Mu Chenshuang glanced at him sideways and asked, "What exactly do you mean?"
Fu Junheng turned to the side, casually put his arm around the woman's waist, and pulled her into his arms with a forceful gaze.
Mu Chenshuang placed her hands on the man's chest, staring at him warily, and warned fiercely, "If you mess around again, don't blame me for being impolite."
As Fu Junheng listened, a wicked smile crept across his thin, rosy lips, and his deep, sharp eyes seemed to see right through her, making Mu Chenshuang extremely uneasy.
All that could be heard was the man's deep, husky voice saying, "Actually, you can't resist me, can you?"
A moment.
Mu Chenshuang froze, a surge of anger rising within her, a feeling of extreme discomfort as if her thoughts had been read.
With a heavy heart, she forcefully pushed the man away.
But Fu Junheng seemed to notice her movement. He grabbed the woman's wrist with his large hand, instantly causing Mu Chenshuang to lose her strength. She was caught off guard and pulled into the man's arms, where she was held tightly.
Mu Chenshuang's pupils dilated in shock.
Let go of me.
Fu Junheng wrapped one arm around her waist and held her wrists with the other, completely trapping her in his embrace.
Mu Chenshuang struggled angrily for a moment, but her strength was like a mayfly trying to shake a tree for the man.
"you……"
All that could be heard from above was a man's magnetic yet helpless voice saying, "It's because I can't refuse you. Tell me, what is it about you that makes me so unable to forget you?"
She repeatedly turned her back on him with cold and resolute words, yet he kept turning back, breaking his own bottom line.
His words struck Mu Chenshuang like a thunderclap, and her body, which had been trying to break free, suddenly stiffened.
Just as she was in a panic.
Fu Junheng suddenly buried his head in her shoulder, his warm breath falling on Mu Chenshuang's ear, causing her whole body to tremble.
After a brief silence.
Mu Chenshuang spoke up, asking, "So? What are you planning to do now?"
Hearing her calm and rational tone, Fu Junheng tightened his grip on her arm.
He slowly raised his head, withdrew one hand, raised it, and gently stroked the woman's cheek with his large palm. He looked at her with deep eyes and said in an extremely serious tone, "I want you to stay by my side."
Mu Chenshuang looked up at him, her clear eyes calm and without the slightest ripple.
Fu Junheng felt a slight panic in her calm and rational gaze. He didn't want to see that look in her eyes. It seemed that after every tender moment, she could remain calm as if nothing had happened. He even had an urge to crush her damn rationality.
