Lin Xingche immediately turned his head, the hostility on his face vanishing instantly, replaced by a pitiful expression:

He was like a wolf cub protecting its food; even though he was still a teenager, he insisted on holding up the sky and protecting her under his wings.

Soon it was their turn on the roller coaster. Lin Xingche deliberately chose a seat in the first row. He fastened his seatbelt and then carefully checked Su Jiaojiao over. Only after confirming that there were no problems did he feel at ease and hold her hand.
