They were both quiet and reserved before, so it wouldn't be good for them to change too much all at once.
"Alright, come in quickly, our parents are waiting."
The Mu family's house was much larger than the Jiang family's, with a two-courtyard layout. Mu Yi'an followed her sister-in-law into the house, where her mother was already eagerly waiting to greet them.
"Yi'an, Shuyun, come in quickly. You haven't been back for a month, have you?"
"Hello, maternal grandmother! Hello, maternal grandfather!"
The two older children bowed and greeted the children, doing so in a very proper manner.
"Okay, okay, come here quickly and let your grandmother see that you've grown taller again."
Mu's mother touched each of the two children's faces and then took them to eat.
Mu Yi'an took Chu Yue from Jiang Shuyun's arms and greeted his father.
"Father, I'm back."
"Yes, it's good that you're back. Chat with your mother and the others for a while, and I'll take Shuyun to the study."
Mu's father himself had studied for a few years and took the imperial examinations several times, but he never even passed the preliminary examination. Of course, Jiang Zhonglin was also a good person; Mu's father had inquired about him extensively. He only had one daughter, so how could he not know for sure?
"Yi'an, I heard you bumped your head, how are you now?"
"Mother, it's alright now."
Mu Yi'an answered honestly that her second brother had visited her at home before and taken a lot of things.
“Your second brother came back and said everything was fine, but I couldn’t see anyone. I’m still worried.”
Mother Mu took her daughter back to the inner room, told her to put the child down and sit down to rest for a while.
"It's really alright, Mother, don't worry."
Mu Yi'an could feel the deep maternal love of her mother and was truly envious of the original owner of this body.
The mother and daughter chatted for a while, and Mu Yi'an relaxed. After all, she was still herself, just with a different soul!
