Luo Shimiao sat in the living room for a while, then got bored and went outside to pick flowers, snapping photos.
"This one is really beautiful."
As she spoke, she inserted a freshly cut pale purple flower into her hair.
A discordant sound shattered the tranquility.

Luo Shimiao looked up and saw a heavily made-up face. Even with several pounds of powder, it couldn't hide the marks of time.
Standing next to her was a dark-skinned woman who said, "Sister Zhong, it's her. I've found out."

Thinking of the terrible state she had witnessed for her son that afternoon, Zhong Mei's eyes blazed with anger. She rushed forward and raised her hand to strike Luo Shimiao.
Luo Shimiao accurately grabbed Zhong Mei's wrist and flung her back a few steps.

The commotion alerted the people inside the room.
Luo Shimiao crossed his arms and looked at the shouting woman, saying, "I know, we beat one dog this morning, and now another one is coming to our door."
The woman next to Zhong Mei chimed in, "Sister Zhong, she called you a dog."
"Shut up, do you need to remind me?" Zhong Mei glared at the woman who spoke.
Zhong Mei: "Any woman who wants to sleep with my son could circle Bailing Village 100 times. It's your good fortune that my son has taken a liking to you."
Luo Shimiao sneered, "With his two-inch thing, even a dog would shake its head when it sees it."
"You...you...today I'm going to tear your mouth apart!" she said, baring her teeth and claws as she lunged at Luo Shimiao.
Just as Luo Shimiao was about to dodge, a force pulled her to the side, and the next second she fell into a broad embrace.
Gu Nian's eyes were icy cold, and his tone was devoid of any warmth: "Get out!"
Zhong Mei was stunned by the man's gaze, her hand frozen in mid-air.
Huang Zongyi pointed at Zhong Mei with a spatula: "If you don't leave, we'll call the police. We're broadcasting live right now, and the whole country is watching what you're doing."
Zhong Mei glared fiercely at Luo Shimiao, then left unwillingly.
